  • Payeng Bhai, i agree with you !
When i was searching for tyre options for my 220, i went through the whole tyre thread and learned a lot about tyres - what about my 220's tyre options ?? - Negligible Info
A 220 user will first check a 220 thread for anything related to 220...i am sure this is helping many of the 220 owners decide their options...i can't see any concrete reasons for these posts to be moved to tyre thread untill its all related to 220 !!

I would appreciate if this healthy discussion stays here.

    • ^^^ +1 .

@Aryan : i was askin whether we can make a few number of posts sticky .(if its not much of pain)
Example : this post of caravikiran
there was one from Niranjan about cleaning and lubricating chain with pics.there might be few others.
May be we could add these on first page of this thread. so that even if someone new comes to the 220 thread, he gets all the usefull information easily
Aprilia RS 125 or Honda CB400 Vtec ..... which one will it be ??? I think its gonna be NINJA ZX 6R :-)

      • Agree with Chilled Fire Completely..

A few previous posts like Chain Cleaning, Tyre Swaps etc. which would in general help anyone looking for info, should be made easily accessable/searchable..

Going through so many pages/posts to dig for the revelent info is a task in itself.

Maybe just be pointing out the Post number where the relevant information can be found could be handly enough.. a similar practice was done in the Old XBHP (pointing out post number in the thread title itself), whenever Pics were posted of new launched bikes

        • I agree with most here. The information is relevant to both tyres thread and 220 thread. I guess it wouldn't be a problem if some of the posts here by Praful, Payeng, Caravikiran were made stickys. They are extremely informative.

          • Kindly guide me to the important posts, and I would love to move those to the "sticky" thread. Thanks.

RPM is the Revolutions Per Minute of CRANKSHAFT.. and not of rear axle.. Crank Position sensor detects the rpm...

"Search" feature is the holy grail in the world wide web. The best example is "Google", the Microsoft of the Internet (Probably even bigger).. which has become the synonym of search for internet.

The main objective of any site/forum should be to be user friendly. i.e. a new user should be able to "search" for the information he/she wants with the minimum of Time, effort and Headache.

As pointed out by Chilledfire, links to all the value adding posts in the P220 thread if made available in the "First Post" of this thread would make the life easier of anyone who visits this thread for the first time.

Now since the first post in this P220 Ownership thread was made by "me"... I can always go back and edit my post. What I plan to do is to provide the "Permalinks" to the important posts made in this thread and post it in the First Post of this thread.

It will take quite some effort from my side to go through all the posts searching for posts which add value. Can some of you guys PM me the "permalinks" of posts which you think should be included in the First Post..??

Sure, this would make XBHP more user friendly as well for the XBHP virgin

One just needs to find the XBHPian who makes the first post in the thread. Or make it (the first post) editable for the Moderators.
