I have updated the "First Post" in this thread with Links to a few useful posts made in this thread by our fellow members.
This will help XBHP newbies dig out valuable information regarding the P220. (Actually sometimes it could save a lot of our effort too).

I want to thank Pranay bro for browsing through the first 100 pages, fishing out the useful posts and PM'ing me those links.

Other members can also PM me links to posts which they find to be "Value Adding"..

Amazin work Payeng and Pranay...wow...this thread is ballistic...a few days of absence and you see a new scene

                        • Next Tyre change: MRF Vyde NOT the 140 mm of FZ16

Last couple of days I was wondering as to what kind of rear tyre to put on my P220 before the onset on the next monsoon..

I was mulling over putting the 140 mm Radial rear tyre of the FZ... but then today I saw a couple of FZ16's on the road.. though the rear tyre looks all broad and sexy.. it has a very flat contact patch. Which is more like ones found on cruiser bikes. It felt that the 140 mm tyre might result in more drag.

So there, I have now decided to go for the more curvy "MRF Vyde" for the next tyre change.

                          • @ payeng sir,
u can also take a look at the michelin sirac 120/90-17" tyre....its a fantastic tyre and works very well on the P220...two of my friends used it on their 220 and i found it much better than the mrf vyde and the stock tyres..particularly in wet n muddy terrains....what i surprisingly found was the slight increase in speed on a particlar engine speed

                            • ^^^ Michelins are supposed to wear out faster due to the softer rubber compound..any details on the same???

                              • i dont think that the sirac is a soft compund tyre....somebody plz confirm(though i think it is a semi hard compund one like others)..but i can really swear by its grip and it surely improved the 220's braking performance to some extent....
