Middle is what I use too, its best compromise between handling and comfort!

      That's a nice pic.
It would be a better city bike with increase in acceleration due to the drop of 12mm in the profile!

Thanks for the comment abt the pic!

The J shaped tool is prone to shearing off the metal.

I would suggest you to use "Hand Power" to twist the shockers to set it to the middle postion. That what I do btw!

Ah! Now I remember, it was Chetan's bike that I had set it to middle position!

I had posted this before also. Soft setting is good for city riding.Mid is good for a bit out of city, twisties and hard is good for cornering.

Btw today i saw a P220 with a Sakura 130 80-17 rear tyre. The owner told me that it improved his bike's speed and handling significantly. But wet roads was a bit concern.

I can live with a slight drop in top speed.. the seat height of the P220 is a bit tall for me.. a slight decrease in seat height woud be most welcome.

Please do post pics of your bike after the Rear Tyre Swap.

there was no change in the performance. grip and cornering has improved by leaps and bound. grip on loose gravel is way better than the stock ones.cant comment on wet grip coz i havent tested it in wet as yet.i said that my bike was doin 80 at 6k rpm after the tyre change. today when i was cleaning the bike i found out that the person who replaced the tyre didnt align the tyre properly. as a result the one of the pads was constantly touching the disc.now the problem has been solved and the tyre aligned properly. will check out if it still does 83 at 6k as the tyre is rotating freely i may see a higher speed than yesterday.

Acceleration will have increased technically with the new tire, as it has less diameter and lighter compound.

Trial and Error, I guess, is a biker's way of life.
yeah i found the same thing . the stance is not the same anymore but if i change the front tyre with a 80/90 from the R15, the stance will return to its original form. will do it very soon. my front tyre has still some thread left on it so was waiting for it to get worn out. another solution is to put the rear shocks in middle stiffer position. that will raise the back side a little more. iam very happy coz of the lowered seat height. now will replace it with a FZ front tyre or a R15 front tyre. hopefully that will solve the stance.

Thanks for the pics bro... the rear does look good.

With better grip on loose gravel/surface and increased pickup at lower revs (thanks to the decrease in diameter of the tyre due to the lower aspect ratio) would make it ideal for mountain rides/trips like LEH-Laddakh..

But for Track days, I suspect that the "MRF Vyde" would be a better choice.
