    If the engine oil level is not proper then there would be lubrication issues inside the engine. Hence after riding for about 15-20 mins you will notice harshness. But since you say that you have filled 500 kms back, that point is out.

    Looks like maybe there is some overheating issue with the bike, but definitely mechanical, because of this: You say that the bike is harsh only AFTER you ride for some time.

    I suggest you to a good service station and get it checked.

      An Idea

      I have had an idea to increase the effectiveness of the Rear View Mirrors of the P220.

      I have often seen "small circular convex mirrors" fitted on the Rear View Mirrors of Cars to increase the area of view. How about putting similar circular convex mirrors fitted on the RVMs of our P220's..??

      I think it might solve the problem of limited visibility of the current RVMs. What say guys?

        i have done that on my mirror. but the vision become very blurred at the slightest of vibration. of no use at night coz u cant see anything at all.

                Okay, chart in metric system in my next post !!

                This is where i am getting this data from - Tire size calculator

                Right, it does indicate speeds which is generally for the front, but the tyre is going to behave the same for rear as well, only difference being the RPM, since its rear tyre.

                  220's rear tyre options - Mertic system measurements.



                  '432' part in 120/80 - 432 indicates the rim size = 17 inch

                  Examples for the tyre sizes mentioned :

                  120/80R17 - Stock tyre size - MRF Zapper C and MRF Zapper Vyde
                  120/90R17 - Michellin SIRAC
                  130/70R17 - IRC (don't know the thread pattern)
                  140/60R17 - MRF (FZ 16's rear tyre)

                    @Praful: I tried adjusting the rear suspension with hand power....it just wont move.......

                    Then i tried with the J shaped tool... and you were absolutely right.....the metal starting churning out......

                      need not worry about the metal part. Since, these havent been moved..so they are a bit jammed.

                      P.S.: Whenever adjusting the shockers try pour some oil(lil drops) and then use J shape tool
                      its all about CC...

                            Whoa man! 3 days im outta town and this thread just exploded!

                            @Andy: Its usually easy shift from hard to soft using hand power. Soft to Hard, well depends on how hard the thing is set and on your 'hand-power'!
