Uncle's P220 is busy drinking 300V and now 5100 looks like he needs a cylinder replacement!

but surprisingly everything else seems to be normal in his bike......it gives a toughtime to R15's and zma even with that tractor tyre

        • Ok, guys can we get back to discussing the Pulsar 220 , there is separate section for SBK's on this forum!

Btw, Zapper C sucks big time have been riding Kri$hna's 220 for the past 2 days as my bike is in service. The amount of confidence that Vyde gives you is unparalled compared to the C. Yea I know there are other even better tyre, but for a poor man like me the Vyde is best bang for my buck.

And also realised after riding his bike how much my bike is lacking in bottom end grunt . Have told this to PBK, but they have just raised their hands saying there is nothing they can do....

I guess I'll have to take to an outside mech now!

Don't tell a lie. From what I have heard every other bike has a hard time catching Caravi's bike.

Call up KRP. I have tested their AM exhausts. There is a decent up in power. They have two variants. Do not remember the prices anymore.
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

                  Q1. Is AM = AutoMech?
Q2. Are you running this on ur 220?

                    • Yesterday on my way to home after office,, bike suddenly gave a jerk,

on that time itself i knew there is something wrong. when i pressed clutch lever..it was moving freely... Damn clutch cable broke. had to push the bike for a while and parked it in my friends society.

my baby is there from yesterday night ,,, i will buy the clutch cable today and fix with with the help of a xbhpian (Ritwik)

                      any input guys.

Does anyone has any idea how much will it cost

What kind of inputs are you looking for buddy?

If the traffic was sparse you could have just done clutchless shifts back to you place.

The only input I can give you is that the clutch cable can go any time as its subjected to wear and tear quite a bit. After my clutch cable broke for the first time in the middle of no where, I made it point to replace the clutch cable every 10K kms and carry a spare cable on all long rides.

Same goes for the accelerator cable to, but this is somewhat more resilient. But I replaced mine as a safety precaution at 25K anyways. Din't wanna get stuck anywhere on my B'bay ride!

                        Aur kya input chaiye?

Any bike's clutch/ accelerator cable is susceptible to snapping off! This is simply not about the 'reliability' factor that you have been blabbering about since yesterday!
                              :)
