          one of mechanic near my house worked there before he told me they to such things intensionally to void the warranty . is this true????

          It really depends upon the dealer actually but nevertheless PRO BIKING concept should be an exclusive thing actually. We have paid bloody heavy amount for this bike. I would suggest you to write a stern mail to the top shots. It should work.

          • I get my hands dirty every time I'm in the Probiking.
            Literally doing some things & settings my self as they don do them properly.
            There also I get the vehicle done only by 1 mechanic or the head of them.
            But fortunately here they are skilled people & only time is the problem here.
            I get the bike serviced on Tuesday /Wednesday when they have less vehicle load.
            The Mechanic who takes care of my bike will not take more than 2 bikes on that day.
            Normally they complete the service of a bike in an hour.
            But for my bike I ensure they sit with me & my bike for 3-4 hours.

            Else I get it done on Sunday.
            There will be only some pending Bikes hardly 3-4 along with my bike.
            There will be 2-3 mechs & The head.

            There is no prob as I noticed with the skill of these people in Delhi, Chandigarh, Banglore, Mandi, Srinagar, Amritsar PBKs.
            Its only a problem of time.
            If U can make these guys take time & do the work trust me Thy'll do wonders with UR Bike.

            Please make sure U sit on their head & make the guy who takes UR bike take less bikes.
            Tht will ensure U get proper service.

                Yes... when you really wanna do something, the means will present themselves.

                Don't let them get away with it... those who do, deserve the kind of service they receive. Beware about ranting and cribbing. It is like a pressure release mechanism - just release the pressure that way and cool down. Then you falsely feel you have done something about it; but nothing has happened and things will continue the way they are. It just acts as a buffer, nothing else...

                  • @prabhakar sir: sirjee maybe u know the mechanics well personally.but not everyone.i agree the problem is time.there is only 1 mechanic for 220 whos expert.i always do servicing from him.n call him twice while servicing is to be done.sitting their with mechanics is not allowded their...wht abt if we all mail bajaj together...?

                      I know thm only through probiking.
                      I totally agree tht I developed good relation with them which is making things easy for me.
                      I initially moved the top brass of probiking to get the things done.
                      Then thy also understood I'll move thm from the top so thy started to do things my way.

                      Contact the regional head of PBK.
                      Tell him the problems & he'll help U out.
                      We have every right for a good Service & Customer Experience.

                      • ^^ totally agree with you, i noticed one thing the more you rant and through tantrums the more roughly and irresponsibly they will handle the bike, you have to find a way to be polite yet firm, trust me i have tried it at the local pbk and now they service my bike with much more degree of determination and concentration.

                        • he he guess what today went to pbk after my paper.

                          went straight to the sales person from which i took bike..
                          told him the problem then went to the manager and told him problem..
                          he was acting as if he is not intrested in listening to me.
                          then i casually warned him of that consumer forum thing and guess what it worked as a charm...
                          he took me to their head mechanic(yes yes the only 220 mechanic there}
                          and told him to solve my problems immedeatly....

                          he then the mech.told me to come tommorow morning early as there is no rush in the morning and gave me his no. to call before coming.
                          GUESS WILL GET MY PROBLEMS SOLVED TOMMOROW....

                          {one funny thing happened today while i reached there ,a guy with 220 was demanding chain lubing. a mechanic came running from inside holding a oil dispenser and drenched the chain with oil. now before oil could be absorbed by chain he started bike on main stand and opened the throttle....some where around 8-9000 rpm
                          and guess what he really messed the fastest indian standing right after it
                          ha ha the fastest indian was standing there after a wash and the rider was gone to take the gate pass......the mechanic neither saw there and again ran inside.... then i saw that sales person and moved in...
                          i wondered what would happened next...}

                          • And I DID write an email to the PBK ........regarding the problems i face.... i highlighted every single point.... they called me back.... as soon as they got to kno their arses will be in trouble...... they apologized over the phone..telling they'll offer better services.... ANd my pitaji was so pissed with them he was on the verge of loosing IT !!! held him back... he said he will go to the higher authorities.... THat was the end of the conversation .... i GAve my father good opinion bout BJAJ AUTO before i bought the bike... but now he's not supporting any endeavours ( servicing or repairs ) with them....

                              BHAi we can do as u say..... but we're holding back(coz of this simple thing called humanity)..... OK we file a case... it goes to the higher authorities.... then they too apologize... they cut a sorry figure in front of us... we'l undergo a small change in our behavior...We'l give them a chance...then the cycle continues..... that is if we owners arent pinching their bottoms every time they trip.moreover the opinions and mostly we guys on xbhp are spread apart.here we get together.but outside,EVERY man's for HIMSELF (to a little extent).. a joint force is required to straighten things up....

                              • You see, I am suffering from bajaj's auto choke screw up royally. It tooks all that song and dance (mail and call ) rutine just to get Jai bajaj's attention for fixing my bike. Even after a month they were unable to fix it. I simply disengaged the auto choke and I am riding the bike normally. They have promised that it will be fixed in the second servicing. If it is not. I will simply go to a consumer forum and file a complaint against Bajaj itself, NOT the showroom. then again its only my own thinking.
