I din't try the 13T from the ZMA as there was play between the sprocket and the shaft it was not a lock fit.

I'm back to this thread after long time.
Meanwhile I experimented with lot of things in the Past couple of Months.

        Gearing ( Rather Sprocketting)

I changed the Rear Sprocket to the 38T1.
There is Very Good increase in Pick up.
But U Loose around 7kmph in the top end.
My bike which USed to hit a Top end of 136 hits only 129.

Then I went ahead & improvised a free flow Exhaust.
        I got a terrific mileage of 40+.
I sensed that the Bike was running too lean due to the Mileage & the severe Back firing.
So I made the mixture rich enough to stop the Back firing.
Now My Topend is an impressive 135.2.

Please don start a war here.

The Only tests I Did on it were the roller bech test avail in the Bajaj & highway runs Using GPS.
I don have any equipment to check it.
Couple of 220 owners checked my Bike & were quite impressed by the way it behaves now they compared it directly with their 220s.

If Some1 wants to knw wht I did & how I did I'll give the details & they can do on thier Bikes.
If Som1 wants to start a war - I'm at peace.

There is no 13T sprocket avail here for the front.
Please let me know if any1 finds the 13T I definately need 1.

In the rear I tried the 36T also.
It made the bike relaxed & U get higher topend of 141.2(Through GPS).
U do notice some drop in Acceleration.
However I need to check this with my new free flow exhaust.

Note: Please check that some of the numbers got messed up due to 3 different checks - GPS, Dyno/Roller Bench & Normal Speedo.
Speedo has an error of 3-4% Due to worn out front tire.
These are the final figures which I Made a note in my Lappy.
wow....the first ever tuned 220 i wud say in my sense.i want more info on this.how much shud i spend on it all.as well can u give some pics of exhaust?
        nice work done...

like the ones one the 150 ,180..... can i ? I'm kinda planning to get rid of the rear mud guard and incorporating a Tyre hugger..... but im gonna keep the indicators and the plate.. since im removing the mudguard , tyre hugger[a good looking one] can decrease splashes on to the seat.... doing this just to give it a small make over ...
Hi, would really love to try that out in my 220, pls let me know what i should do and the cost and the place if you know some in chennai...

            hey there

actually i kinda am not doing it....but im putting some thot into doing it in a diff way.... well to accommodate the Tyre hugger u need to weld supports onto the swingarm.... no way im gonna weld stuff onto the arm... ..... so just ditching the plan.... but im trying to cleanly chop the rear mud guard just where the no plate ends... that time ppl will call me an FZ wannabe (coz it resembles an FZ) .... but its ok.... or i'l try doing something unique for once..... I'l keep ya updated then ....

some told u to change it..... changing it is ok if its malfunctioning.....coz it night get covered under warranty if t is still there.......but i suggest u to check the electrical's and check if the relay by itself is getting enough power....coz the relay might be getting flooded with signals or electrical inputs and outputs...basiucally u need to check the realy first... don assume its malfunctioning at one shot...

                      • I am using Mak Spirol EP 90 oil for lubing the chain. And it is fantastic!!! Extreme value for money,Rs.150 only!
Maintaining chain is of utmost importance for the 220 . Directly linked to smoothness.

Not sure, but I think the chain pitch is different and hence it will be incompatible.
