It almost certainly seems to be a issue with fuel, and you have mentioned it too that you noticed these changes after you changed your fuel. The 220 is very sensitive to fuel and there is a world of difference in the feel of bike between good/bad fuel. If possible drain this fuel completely and switch back to your previous tried and test fuel/bunk.

About the spark plugs, if you are using stock ones then they definitely need a change past the 10K mark. Otherwise they are usually cleaned at every service, so it might not necessarily be a issue with them.

If the fuel pump malfunctions, either the bike won't start or even if it does, it will be gasping to move ahead. So its not an issue with the pump. Ditto for the clutch plates, they would be pretty at 6.4K kms, unless you are in wheelies and hard drags etc.

I am guessing that you are more or less a sedate rider, so at 6.4K the balancer shaft should not have gone out of balance. (Mine is still fine at 24K)

LHS footpeg vibes are usually associated with a dry/slack/overtight chain, inspect your chain to see if its lubed and has the correct amount of slackness.

@Jigar : as Praful mentioned check the fuel , best if possible get some trusted fuel wala .... or if possible try speed97. i have started using shell Super Unleaded which is 91 octane and its the best.... atleast no mixing in here...
Also after chaing the fuel check CO% atleast 2 weekends if it remians constant then the fuel is the best.

With the footrest vibes if possible try Motul chain lube, its amazing i tried it this wekend and then did 100kms ride the best feature is 90% nose reduction from the chain, also the bike feels super smooth at certain revs where initially it felt wild.

Similar problms as Jigar mentioned . also when i start the bike ,the starting sound is a lot noisy than it used to be.

Im switching over to Motul early nxt month.. so i guess the engine harshness will be reduced. I do idling in morng for abt 2-3 mins is tht sufficient ?

I have gone to showroom today for routine check of my P220. Man what I have seen in showroom, can't explain. There is a yellow P220 with new graphics and black engine treatment with a new exhaust, in the showroom lot basement.
When I asked the showroom owners about it, they said we can't give details without official permission. Can anyone tell me that is that the new P220? Or a modified P220?
Also seen a YZF-R15 in yellow colour. I will post it in dat thread.

@Razor: When the showroom guys said that they cannot reveal anything without "official information", that most probably means something.. It just might be the "new" P-220 which will be launched in some-time, who knows!

Yesterday i saw an hibrid of uni+220

Iam going tomorrow , to buy a sticker of P220, and I will try to snap a pic of that bike.
It can't be modded as I think coz , it have flawless finish , many good things like - Radial tyres a bit broader may be inspiration from FZ16, Awesome black treatment in engine. Exhaust is good but I like the old one.
There is a sporty engineguard like apache rtr efi.
Atlast grapics in pulsar and some black spats designs in yellow.
In side panel there is sports written with "s" as red colur and "ports" in black.
The grab rail is now smokey black.
The bike looks awesome, I saw some "XU" type of thing wtitten on engine too.
I talked with the manager , but he denied to tell anything. and when I was going from there, I saw the bajaj dudes are covering it with a transparent cover.. hehe I don't think such care will be done to modified bike.
I will go again tomorrow - sticker khardne ke bahane sure snaps maar ke le aaunga...

You may have to do it very discreetly.. if they are not letting out the info.. then they wont allow any pics . but do it smhw.
