Front disc is not a worry then

Mileage is surely below 30 kmpl. Close to 25 which is why im worried.

I was planning to go to Indiranagar PBK today but I'll come to AS tomorrow.
Your rear wheel is definitely not rotating properly. Do get it checked in OS. At 6K your speed should be 84-83. Nothing less than that. Check chain slackness also in AS.

I think your servicing time is approaching. Check everything man.

I figured the only component of the bike involving 'Gas' was the Nitrox rear suspension, so there, one part of your query answered.

I used to think that Nitrox literally meant the rear shocks used Nitrogen for damping, but then the device they use to refill the Nitrox shocks is nothing but a simple pressure gauge cum mechanical air pump kind of thing. You'll notice the star screw to the rear of the gas chamber in the shocks, they remove it, insert the device and pump air into it for something like 110-120 psi. Second part of your query answered.

Damn, I answered Aryan's queries! It's usually the other way round. Am I honoured

Which is why i mentioned "during its launch"! There was only the Glamour with Fi during that time i believe.
@theslayer: Thanks for the info. This post has solved the bigest problem created by the nitrox shocks for all the owners of bikes who have them in their bikes which include all the pulsars, hunks, and the RTR. We guys at bhopal didnt have a clue about this, will surely share this piece of info with all at the g2g being held tommorow in the city of lakes.

We guys here at bhopal had no info why all the pulsars here had such bad rear shocks and why the bikes gave a bad ride quality even after BAL posing so much about their gas shocks. Not only on the soft setting but even at the hardest setting these shocks gave the worst ride quality. Cornering at high speeds was never possible.

The most important part of first service is the oil change. Make sure they do it (they will do it nonetheless). And the rest of the stuff would be taken care of by the PBK technicians. Nothing you should be specifically worried about.

                  • Hello guys!
Got my bike's 5th servicing done.
                    here are few details

                    Labor Details

Bike now feels smooth. But one thing. The mechaninc has reduced ther idling RPM. Result, was bit difficult to start the bike in morning today. RPM was ealrier set at 1500. Now 1200

First time in Kirti Nagar Service station
Observation: Big. But dissapointed to know that it caters to all the bikes of Bajaj. The only dedicated PBK is Okhla. Another thing noted was that the mechanic was consistently requesting me to sit on the chair & watch from a distance rather than me watching up-close & personal. He said that later on he might get to hear a word or two from his seniors. Not good. Never had any kind of trouble in Okhla PBK

Also, met Durgesh ji & Sandip. Sandip is a Sr person in Bajaj & Durgesh & Sandip had come there to do some audit. Also Sandip would be heading towards Bajaj Plant in Uttaranchal.
When asked about something good from Bajaj this year he said cant divulge much but yes there is something cooking
Last but not least. Both these guys have good regards for our own MG.

                    • @RX: How many kms. has your P220 done? Also, how long have you been using that Nano energizer? And do you feel any changes in the performance of the machine because of that?

The PBK service staff at Okhla PBK did put that "energizer" in the engine oil during the very first servicing of my P200, but I find it total crap! The engine's exhaust note had changed and it felt real bad. I flushed the engine oil, thankfully. Overall, that 'energizer' provides anything but 'engergy'.. How has your experience been?

And thanks for the Kirti Nagar PBK review. I thought it was a dedicated PBK service center. But, thanks to you, now I know I should'nt visit it in the near future. Okhla PBK is still the best!

                          Dada,
been using Nano since 1st service. So cant comment on performance coz never rode without having nano mixed in my engine oil. But did asked Durgesh ji about it. He said unline Nulon & other stuffs it is better as it forms a coating of Titanium ceramic coating around the chamber & piston. This is what the manufacturer claims too Seems that doesnt harm so....

Guru, Okhla & K Bagh PBK remains closed on Sundays & Kirti Nagar on Mondays
