This is a great question Raj. It has been one year since I made the switch to Tubeless.
    I have tried the combination plus-minus 3 & 5 PSI of company recommended 25 and 33. Haven't found much of a difference.

Now I retain F25 and R33. I read somewhere that the tyres have a operating range of +/- 5 PSI.
So your F30 and R40 should be ok. It all comes down to you preference.
I feel F30 and R40 makes the bike jump and hop on the potholes.

      Hello,

I just bought a 2017 Karizma R from a friend. Bike had done just 888kms and I got a too sweet a deal to pass it.

I understand the bike has not been running for a while.

So now when I start the bike, it takes a while to start while kicking it. Using choke does start it, but still needs a few kicks.

Then after at low rpm it seems the bike is struggling for fuel, but my 4 wheeler habit is to keep the tank full.
It jerks till say 3k rpm and then revs clean. But I know the bike is still not run in, so don't want to rev it much.

A couple of biker friends suggested carb and valves as potential issues considering the bike was just standing for a few months.

Any suggestions what could be the issue?

Engine is not getting hot. Although I will be getting the oil changed in a day or two.

Forgot to mention that after the engine is warm, the jerkiness goes away.

Change all consumables, I know the motorcycle is new, but change them just for the heck of it.

You mean oil, oil filter, air filter? Anything else?
Apologies for noob questions, as frankly I'm new to owning one. And haven't dwelved in motorcycles for atleast 7 years. Infact I wasn't sure bikes has an oil filter.

Actually I am planning to change with a basic mineral oil, run it for 2-300 kms and then replace with Motul's best oil or something. Sort of like running it in again and flushing the engine with the basic oil.

Zma dont have oil filter . check the condition of air filter , if its not dirty ,not needed to change. Check spark plug . As this is new bike ,just 1000km , better use mineral oil till at least 7k km . 10w30 oil is recommended but 20w40 can also be used . Drain oil every 2000k.m

Ok. I get it. Does anyone have a soft copy of the owners manual of this new model Karizma R?

I face the same thing every morning.. even after having run it for 30K kms.

Coming from an Activa which just starts at the first touch and runs so smooth even early morning, I believed the bike had issues from day 1.

Did the usual carb cleaning, reporting to ASC, change of oil to Shell FS.. no change.

Now I have just accepted that it's the 'character'of the bike.

Every morning I pull the choke.. start the bike.. leave it for about a minute.. then throttle it to 7-8K once.. then start riding. And even then it sputters and threatens to switch off, but thankfully does not on most days.

Only after riding for more than a kilometer, the bike show some semblance of being agreeable with being ridden.

So from my experience.. acceptance is the key to ur happiness!

P.S: I would looovvvee to be proven otherwise.

This is normal phenomena for Carburated Karizma. By Default the AFR tuning is lean from factory for all ZMA since 2011.
There will be always issue in cold start; most of the time choke has be activated. Initial 1-1.5 km will give you jerky ride as if your fuel got into reserve.
Never rave during this initial ride and let the engine get up to its optimum operational temperature .

Else you just tune your AFR to more rich side.

The thing on our toes ,which is used to apply rear brakes
                          Is getting stucked a bit
                          Movement is not free.
                          The brakes doesnt remain applied
But the part(i dont know what its called) remains about 10cm below its original position,i have to put it back to original position, also that lever type of things makes screeching noise.
Also brake light doesnt glows when i press the gear lever.

You mean the brake lever? It's probably loose because of which it remains below it's original position. Also, try lubricating the paddle and see if it is still stuck. I use old engine oil as lube for brakes. If there's still trouble with braking, I would suggesting getting the brake pads checked. The screeching sound is probably due to lack of free movement and lubrication or dust accumulation. Try doing the above and see if it works out.

I noticed that I don't have chain slider in my zma[emoji850][emoji58]. Can somebody post the pictures of chain slider of zma from different angles so that I can search for compatible one if I'm not able to source original.
                              Thanks in advance.
