Interesting. I tried putting ZMA indicator bulb on Hunk indicator, but it was too big. You mean Tata Indica indicator bulbs are smaller?

So you mean, put a Hunk Indicator n Tata Indica's bulb in it?

even the tata indica`s bulb are big..but they fit..u cant use the stock zma bulb as its not orange in colour..u need an orange bulb in clear lens indicator

Huh?? I know stock ZMA bulbs are clear. I just wanted to test if wiring was correct, then found out that the Hunk plastic indicator cover cannot close with ZMA bulb inside. So though Hunk must be using smaller bulb.

Are Indica & ZMA stock bulb same size?

                  • Screwd Gearbox

Got my ZMA a week back.Black with red alloys.(FBK).As my friends insisted to go for it and upgrade in near future to R15 or a ZMR with some more changes.

NOW the BIG problem from day one is the gear shift of my bike is so poor that i cant go up from 3rd.3-4-5 are hard and i almost have to scrape my shoe. and while going down it doesnt go below 3.it just gets locked and doesnt respond further for down shift. gears get stuck and give harsh cut-cut sound. Finding neutral is also a 'bit' trouble.
The mechanic there tweaked/tuned something but no major change. Gear shift is hard and 5th gear wont come up riding on 4th gear at the max. Its very ridiculous to see a brand new bike costing 82000( hard earned money!)is behaving this way. the showroom guy has asked me to show the bike in two days. but am worried how would i live with such bike all the way.dissapointed
Bought from Hero honda-United agency, nal stop, pune.
Also bought a RTR 160 (metalic gray)for brother.Yelow was not avlbl. the gears of this bike are so smooth they feel like butter!!
                    Then why on earth ME?***
What would you suggest me to do? ask for a repair??!! or a replacement which does not seem possible.*** Already covered 200 odd KMS.
***Correct me if I am wrong :)

ZMA has hard gears at the start however after your 1st service gear shift will completly change it will be on the smoother side

Change the oil to the company recommend garde 10w30 do not use any other oil during the running period

Keep the bike under 4rpm and dont ride the bike on constant speed for a very long time

Dont be mad you will love ZMA after 1st service is completed

dude done be frustrated .. New karizmas are like that only . my friend also faced the same but dont worry after one two services the gears will become butter smooth (if not consult service centre and esnure that it is solved) .

Dont worry dude after one or two months you will realise that every penny you spent was really worth and you will love your bike more than anything mark my words.

Now just complete the run in under 5 k rpm .

Gosh dude... did you go to their workshop (Automark Motors) on Paud Road? It is the most ghastly automobile workshop I'v seen. Just run from there... far, far away.... if you value your new bike. Find a better place, or they will rape your bike beyond salvation...

                              • Cold starts are always there with all carburetted bikes. If a bike does not start with single press after a cold night, it does not mean something wrong with the bike. Things will be eay if you start the bike with choke on after a cold night. The purpose of the choke is for a cold start. Use it.
