    Derin congrats on your choice..
IT will never let you down.
Dotn worry about fiber parts the quality of fiber is top notch it can survives normal falls also but the joints are not that much strong but dont worry even if the joints broken you can adjust it using some adhesives and other things . My bike fibre join is broken but the fibre was still as new and not even a visible scratch so i didnt changed it instead i used some adhesives and fixed it . It is running fine for the last 10 k kilometeres not even vibrations (Rear side panel).

By the way In kerala where are you from ? i am also from kerala

Using the Zma as my runabout/commute for now. I didn't like it at the start for various reasons, but am taking a liking for Elsie now.

          • All, to make the weak joints of the fairings of ZMA strong, I have applied Araldite around the joints. I found this to be really helpful. I will post the pics soon.

If you want to keep the complete sticker, u need to take out the Read instruction manual/gear shift info sticker on the tank

              Hope this helps

              • As i told i changed to Michelin M 45on my rear ..
I have an interesting experience to share ..

Before changing the rear tyre i took the bike to highway and checked the top speed .. The highest one i got was 135 . (usually my bike wont cross 130 ) after two days i changed my rear tyre (while front is still the stock one which did 24 k but still in ok condition)

After i changed the tyre and took the bike on highways but this time i couldnt strect much as there were a lot of trucks but the bike touched 130 in a straight road. (i think it can do more if i pushed more hard )

so M 45 on rear wont decrease top end

Reagrding the accelaration i didnt find any noticable diference

so M 45 will not make a noticable change in accelaration (atleast for me i didnt feel any change in accelaration now if the situation changes i wil update)

Mileage still i am testing it .. i cannot comment it now . but will update it later..

But the handling increased to new levels. The m 45 is giving awsome grip and gives more confidense . it inspires confidense on corneres (but i didnt try to corner hard as my front is stil stock old tyre). I can really feel the difference. I tried braking hard the rear brakes but till today no fish taling . So i will recommend M 45 if you are looking for a tyre that wont decrease your aceelaration/ top end and you need not remove chain guard and gives awsoem grip . It is slighlty wider than stock tyre.

But the interestign thing i noticed is this

My Rpm meter readings for corresponding speed readigns
                changed .

                Now the bike touches
                65 km/hour at 4 k rpm
                80 at 4.8 k rpm (earlier it was 80 at 5 k )
                100 at 6 k rpm (earlier it was 100 at 6.5 k )
                110 at 6.5 k rpm (earlier it was at 110 at 7 k rpm)
                120 at 7.5 k rpm

i have no idea what happened .. I didnt made any modification/any tuning . i did nothing in between changing the tyre to M 45 from stock

i am wonderign what happened . My old tyre i replaced was almost lost all the grip and was in a unusable state (means u can ride but if u brake hard or ride on wet roads zero grip) changing the tyre to m 45 will give more grip to rear tyre so that the poweer from engne can be used more efficiently but how come such a thing make such a visible difference?

Any tech gurus throw some light ..

M45 is a lighter tyre then your stock zapper u should have holded zapper in one hand and m45 in the other to chck lightness.....there will be no effect on acceleration or top end with m45.. and it sticks like a leech... amazing performance ..cornering.. straight line stability and braking too....

                      • Does keeping ZMA idle on 1200 effect the top end speed

I have M45 3.0 front and rear 4.0 and my bike does not go beyond 115kms

no other mods done using petronas sprinta 5000 10W40

Mileage i get is constant 42-44 kms in city as i drive around 60 in city

Highways bike gives around 46kms keeping speed around 80-90

                              • Finally got my bike back from the service center after a whole 9 days..after much arguing got the replacement for my silencer under warranty.plus there was another issue with the bike..the neutral patti had got spoilt..so the mechanic had to dismantle the entire engine to get that replaced under warranty as well..it was disheartening to c the entire bike lying here and there..and these mechanics dont bother about the costly fiber parts..it was lying underneath their feet .Planning to sell my bike and get a Zmr.
