Yeah,It is larger than the stock but its just 1kg more than the stock tire,I hadn't felt any acceleration loss or more gear shifts,I feel everything same as before except the grip levels

I have a feeling 120x80 18 might just fit in. The diameter is also close to stock. I have read some saying about cutting a small portion of chain cover.
Yeah,In ZMR you will have to cut the chain-guard a bit to accommodate the M45.But in ZMA-R you don't have to do any thing to the chain guard,Just bend the linkage rod,That's all you have to fit the tireI think 120 sized tire is the maximum that we can put in a ZMA and 130 for a ZMR.

Doesn't the crash-guard bend and breaks the front fairing in crashes? Its very close to the fairing!Just a doubt

            • ^^^Is it this close.
i guess for slow speed crashes and slips there should be no major damage as the crash guard would be able to take the impact...

It would not be possible to fix this crash guard in 2011 Karizma-R, since it has the reflector installed at the corner where the crash guard is very close to the fairing.
I have installed the FZ crash guard. But it is not as good as CBZ's/Hunk's Crash guard.
But the problem is you can't remove those reflectors.
                  Move on.........

Please post a picture of your Karizma with Fz Crash guard so that we can see the clearance to the fairing. Why is it not as good as cbz or unicorn's guard.

First of All a Hearty Welcome to you .Comparatively the ZMA-R or ZMR have less issues....it is the cost and non availability of spares which makes news here most of the time..But there are many innovative owners who had found alternates to the spares problem. Just read through the 400 + pages and 4,000 + posts and you will be as informed as us..(don't say it is taxing..I had done it).
