      Hi Guys Congrats to all the new thump owners... I was never a fan of RE Bullet until i rode my friends Thunderbird from Blr to Goa for Rider Mania 09 which concluded recently... I absolutely fell in love with RE... & am planning to buy the latest Classic 350 or 500 Bullet.. Guys your Inputs pls on the new Classic.. I especially loved the new Classic 500 with Catcon... Its power delivery is so smooth when i rode it.. Bull Gurus...Need your help & valuable suggestion Guys... Thanx

        i have booked my bullet form Lotus Automobiles (Authorised dealer Royal Enfield), Mira road. Owner Mr Manish Pandey is very genuine and cool guy. He gave me all the detail about bullet and provide me test ride twice n finally we selected electra for me.

          After numerous number of phone calls and a few visits to the showroom after, i was promised the delivery of my motorcycle today!

          If they cant deliver it before 4.00pm today then i have to defer it until the next working day. Dont want to take delivery in dark.

            Royal Enfield Classic 350

            I have just ordered. Will get back to you guys shortly with my experience with it. Probably would take around 40days time. As far as the test ride, I took it on C350, TBTS and C500(without any intention to buy thou). I jes cant forget the trust and power I got on C500. Was just monstrous. Bt amongst the 350s. Classic was my choice for it oozing out all the retro feel. As I had not more that 1,10,000 I chose Classic350(maroon colored). Now waiting for it.

                  congrats again ash.. i'd suggest you ride frm chennai to delhi to complete the run-in? tht ways i will also get to ride it

                            Starting trouble when hot

                            Hey everyone,
                            facing a bit of trouble with my 10 day, 230 km old Std. She starts beautifully (with choke) when cold, but after riding 10-15 kms, starting is almost impossible. Either there is no ignition, or a whole lot of backfire. If left to cool for half an hour, she starts up again. I checked the spark plug - insulator colour seems normal (brown).
                            Also, clatter from the engine has increased as compared to the first day: but this is normal, right? I think the tappets are set loose during run-in period

                              ^^ get tappets adjusted, they are losing the tolerance after getting hot and expanding.
