I have not seen any rubber or any type of removable part, when I removed the seat for washing the bike.
      Hey Abhi.
There is part under riders seat. its probably air filter intake thing. like a tunnel thing. You can just pull it out as the base is rubber fitting. no need to remove petrol tank.

Is it the rubber pipe which connects the air filter to the carburreter?

Just want to see if it improves the thump of the bike.
Otherwise everything is going good. Bike runs like sunshine

In my 180 UG4 the whole Air filter box is new and differently designed. So, no rubber part the whole casing is of plastic. Heck!!

Dude mine is same. upper part is of plastic. but the base must be rubber. check it. Try pulling it out.

                                Well,

IMO, everything kept on the bike is for a reason.. I guess the air intake tunnel is for avoiding intake of polluted air.. so your air filter doesn't have to work very hard and more importantly you don't want that air to go inside your combustion chamber forming Air and fuel mixture.

The tunnel ensures that you get air from the the lower portion of seat and not directly from near the air filter.. since the possibility of polluted air is more when the air is coming from near the air filter (just in front of rear tyre).

So, in short, I would not fiddle with it just in order to get better sound.
                                Just R15ing...
