Dude that looks amazing. Nice job buddy. Few questions thoughOriginally posted by A@shIsh View PostAs requested i am posting the pics of the HID.Picture quality is very poor as i dont have a good camera
so please dont complain
1) How much the whole setup costs?
2) From how long you have it and what are the problems it has?
3) How much heat is produced? Does the faring gets hot after using for some time? I heard the reflectors melt or they turn black.
4) After changing the bulb does it affect the warantee of the bike cause mine is 2 months old.
5) Is there a way for starter to work and hid to work at the same time?

1. It costed me 3400INR for the KitOriginally posted by rtirumala View PostDude that looks amazing. Nice job buddy. Few questions though

2. I have been using it from the past 15-20 days i guess only problem i am facing is that my 2 year old battery is strugling to support the HID i will have to buy a new one soon.
3. Heat generated by a 35W HID is very low as compared to a 35W Halogen so there are no heating problems
4. It would entirely depend upon the the person who does the fitting becasue if he plays with the stock wiring then your warranty is gone.In my case the stock wires werent touched some jugaad was done incase i want to use the stock again
5. Not possible
nice ideaDude, you should change ur ID to "Then there was Light"

people are stoping me on the road to know what kind of bulb i am using and its cost
when i say its HID and its price...they are like
..its fun
i still fell 4300K would have sufficed, 6000K will give out too much white light and attract cops, anyway be careful with them

ELD. You came with me to Awais. I haven't been facing this momentary lurch after he did up my carb, but I have experienced it before. I haven't re-jet either, though, I'm wondering if I should. Oh, and about your top-end, I'm not really sure whether I find myself struggling, coz I've been able to take mine to 122 (speedo).Originally posted by EL LOCO DIABLO View PostI've been riding with K&N RC 1060 on my 200 for a while now, and the bike is still running in it's stock jetting, though i found that acceleration has improved whilst riding in the powerband on the other hand bike suffers on the either end, if i crack open the throttle at 2nd gear say at 2500-3000rpm the bike lurches like it's about to stall without petrol, but this is only momentary after a split second gap, the bike pulls cleanly till 8000rpm and the other grouse is that once the bike crosses the 110-115kmph mark the acceleration afterwards is very very slow and really struggles to make it to 120kmph (which is by far the max. the bike has been able to touch so far with the k&n), so my question "Is K&N really worth it?" though many may argue that only with proper jetting the bike will be able to perform, i still doubt it'll make much of a difference, because once you tune the carb say for it's top-end and jet accordingly the bike will still suffer in it's bottom-end and there is a likely event of the acceleration getting hit too, so is there a way to have a bit of top-end as well as acceleration (i might be ambitious but still)?-------------------
Swiggy Mayhem!
We're trying to start an initiative where we're gathering enough photos or videos
of erratic Swiggy/Zomato/UberEats riders across all cities so we can cast a spotlight
on this issue and try and sort it out. If you video-record as you ride, or have a
dash-cam in your car, or can take SAFELY photographs of instances where these riders
are creating a nuisance by riding recklessly on the roads, PLEASE share the same with
us on the thread above. Appreciate it!
