1200 - 1300 RPM is the ideal range. But 1400 RPM is where it's at until the first service, even mine was set at that range. So, don't worry. At the first service, the mech. will set it..
            :)

hey buddy do you have any pics?
can u explain the highlighted words in the quote???HOW is it possible?
                what about the cost?

I think the HID i am having is more than enough...i dont feel the need of more light...so no need of upgrading

I ought to get in here...Here is revolution with an evolution.

the second pic , is the comparison to the pulsar 220 low beam(left), with R15 high beam with a parabola(right).

                  • let me help to explain a little about projector.
our p200 original lamp is a reflector lamp, using reflection from the reflector to lights the road.

projector lights the road through lenses.

look at the pic, p200 reflector is a DOT typical.
resulting a higher glare levels for oncoming drivers.

when u using projector, the light typical are ECE, harmonized, and JDM.
we can choose harmonized typical for motorcycle(p220).
from this light typical, we can see that there's no glare at ECE and JDM.
                    harmonized with a little glare.

that sharp cut off make less glare to incoming light.

for the 7 times brighter statement.
                    i dont agree.
it looks brighter coz there are no glare.
                    all lights shine the road.

Here are the main benefits of HID kits over Halogen style bulbs (with xenon or without)

                    - HID's will produce 3 to 4 times the relative brightness than Halogen.

                    - HID's operate at a lower wattage, generate less heat and use less electricity

                    - HID's natively operate at around the natural colour of light to start with (Around 4100k) and therefore are whiter without any tinting than Halogen (which are around 2300k+ - although note that xenon halogen bulbs have a blue tint to make them appear whiter but that tint actually reduces the light output a little and is no where near HID).

                    - HID has hi flux which means a much deeper and evenly spread beam

                    - With the high output you will still see your lights on the road in wet weather! Unlike Halogen based bulbs (especially xenon based bulbs) which tend to disappear when it rains!

                    - HID will operate up to six times longer than Halogen equivalents

                    - As they say once you've had HID you won't go back!

                    sorry for my bad english

                    • yes, you are absolutely correct with it, but my low beam projector has a cut off in it whereas in the high beam it has been removed and the focal length of the bulb have been modified . Resulting in the minimum glare one side and on the other no glare and with multiple color change, as it should be with high beam and low beam.

A major focus change on the road , what i have noticed from the HID i used in with the reflectors inside and now with the projectors. I can notice this because of my vision problems at night with glasses , specially !!

First off, Castrol Power 1 is totally the wrong grade engine oil to be used in the P-200 (or for that matter any machine which has a engine oil rating requirement of *W50). Secondly, have you checked the engine oil level? It might just need a top-up!

As per me, engine heating and 'burnt smell' could be because of the engine oil. Well, I hope there is nothing seriously wrong with the engine though.
                          :)

this happens when there is more than required Engine oil. And you are using Castrol P1!!!
