Once you're done do post in detail what mods you had to carry out beside changing to the Avenger Coil.

I changed my stock light to night breaker. Just changed the coil to avenger's one. Nothing else, get the night breaker, straight fit.

              • ^^ Bright perhaps??

I heard there was new MRF tyre called the "WYD" or something? According to Insidous this is supposed to be 120/80 17" soft-compound, costing Rs. 1750, anybody got any info on that??

Great but i could do with a little more detail than that Is there a similar tyre for the front too?

As far as I've asked around, people haven't given me any feedback on the front tires used on their bikes. But it would be a good option to go in for the Yamaha R15's front tire, seeing as it is a soft compound tire too. I already highlighted you on this fact though.

Anyway, I'd like to know about the feedback for the front tires too. Does MRF also make soft compound front tires?

ELD, if you're going in for a tire change, let me know. I might be going in for one too, and we might as well get it together. We might be able to work out a decent price with the guy. And what about those drags we were planning?

@kriss: Is it necessary to change the coil to an avenger's if I'm going for the OSRAM? And, how much will it set me back by?

                          • ^^U can go for the R15 tire, but u will loose out on the speedo accuracy due to the profile difference. Stock being a 90/90 - 17 and R15 being 80/90 - 17. The grip levels are bound to be astounding though!

I noticed the change in grip. Madcatz had changed to R15 tires, both on rear and front. I checked it out on the morning of the trip to horseley, and mind, I was tempted to stoppie on the wet roads! If only I had known how.

As for the speedo error, well, that won't do too much bad seeing as I am not a speedo-conscious person. But then again, if I think I'm within limits, and I'm not, then the cops aren't going to be too happy. Any idea about similar profile soft compound tires for the front? Preferrably from MRF?

                              • No idea about the other tires. Dont worry, the speedo error is not going to be in ten's to get u in problem with the cops, probably a 3 - 4%. And I dont think any of us ride exactly at 50 if its a 50kmph limit, do we?
