Missing sparks could be due to a faulty spark plug, a faulty cable or ignition coil or CDI unit. Best wud be to visit another service centre and get everything checked.
This jerk is due to spark missing . My bike is also facing the same issue but i thought it's due to the dirty air-filter.

Edit : LOL sparks should be replaced at 9k kms and I've done 35k and now only its showing the symptoms Honda rocks

joseph, honda has launced New Activa/deo/aviator models with new spark plug for improved mileage. earlier the spark plugs for Twister and Honda scooters were same(as the engine is same 110cc). i feel the new spark plugs used in these scooters can also be used for Twister.....thus we can get better mileage.dont know which new spark model honda is using...can you get some more info on this?

Im going to the Honda spares today, as my 60km daily drive will take a huge hit when mileage drops to 55 from 75 will ask them about the model numbers for Twsiter and Dream, but from all the articles which I read today about spark plugs, the only change in using a better spark plug seems to be more pickup due to the improved response and better idling due to the lower electrode gap. The difference between Dream and Twister powerwise could be due to CDI or the drivetrain setup. Anyway I'll let you know

Yesterday i've changed air filter, Spark-plug & engine oil now i'm using Honda oil. Today i dint faced any jerk,
and engine feels much smoother than earlier might be because of Honda oil.
Also now the throttle response is perfect, earlier when i raise the throttle engine won't response immediately after a mild a delay only it'll deliver the output.
But this time i can't able to get the twister spark-plug instead i got NGK plug which is used in unicorn, all the dimension are same so it's a direct fit.

Due to a different drive-train only the yuga is producing slightly less power but both are using same engine.

                • Hello friends. These days I'm facing a problem with my bike. The throttle response seems to be delayed and irregular. When the accelerator is turned, throttle picks up after a slight delay & jerks initially before it sustains. Also feel some power loss.I had similar experiences with some aged blkes but my bike is too young for this(2nd service-tomorrow).I suspect the chain is loose.I'm really confused.Share,if anyone have had similar experiences.Any suggestion or advice are welcome.

Dream Yuga uses CPR7EA-9 from NGK (same as earlier 110cc Activa ) But i have replaced with NGK Iridium spark plug of same series CPR7EAIX-9 in my bike, the engine response at low rpms is much better with this and is closer to my earlier bike TVS Victor, although the mid and top end response from engine didnt improve with spark plug change ( but even without it the mid and top end reponse is pretty good in dream yuga)
The jerk issue is observed even with iridium spark plug, although its a little less frequent but is still noticeable
Do speed breakers break speed or break backs !!!

Bro, I went to svc yesterday and they didnt have spark spare for such a common plug model! Another of my frnd told that his frnd used a unicorn spark plug on twister and mileage dropped to 45-50, so please let us know the result. Im going to buy from outside as lots of bikes have the same plug. Honda spares and service is pathetic.

As you said chain is also a one factor for that delay. But check the spark-plug if all are ok, then check the carburetor.

Today i got a reading of 70kms (50kmpl) for 100rs of petrol (1.4L). But i'm not sure it's correct or not. So let me check the mileage for next two days then give a exact results.
I don't think so the spark plug is the factor for mileage drop but after changing the spark plug the throttle response is accurate.

You can buy the spark plug from any spares shop, here in bangalore almost all the shops have this spark plug available ( you can try asking for Honda Shine )

Cant say that bro, do let me know the exact result after 2 days. Local shops only have Bosch plug used in bajaj bikes and they have a clearance of only 0.6mm whereas our bike has 0.8-0.9mm, that clearance is dependant on the ignition coil strength, so different bikes might have different sparks. Since Unicorn is another Honda, maybe both the spark plugs could be the same or very similar. Due to to lack of availability, I sanded the existing plug and corrected the clearance, now Im getting 70kmpl and I need to have a new one to get 75+, so spark plug really varies the mileage beyond a limit. For you it might not show any difference as you change it often, but my plug was never changed in 3 yrs and the electrodes were eroded

                              • Thanks Mr.Raja.Anyway I got all my problems revolved in the 2nd service.Offcourse I asked them to inspect & clean the chain, the clutch setup, the brakes & also the idling. The SVC got it all done for me.I can really feel the difference now.The throttle is now impulsive & consistent. The fuel economy also got better.Still I'm a bit disappointed, because since the last week,I'm not getting any response for my posts.Yesterday,I even sought some help, but didn't get any.Even though I was deserted, the forum was busy."Please don't do this to any co-members members" because you can kill a good friend by just keeping silent.
