      • Anyone fitted larger tires in their Twister? Kindly post some pics if someone has done that mod.

        • Which is more beneficial in terms of mileage, tank maintenance - Fill petrol tank with 1-2lts and keep filling at regular intervals? OR Fill it once with 6-7lts petrol and keep using the same for long?

          • My bike has done 3500kms approx. Till now, I have changed engine oil thrice, but each time I have filled engine oil of a different brand. Honda, Castrol Activ and Moto elf. Though all were mineral oils. Was i wrong in doing that? Which mineral oil do you guys use for your Twister and felt taht its the best for it?

How much does it give on 100(+)kms runs with high speeds, like 90kmph... And is it stable at those speeds... like in comparison with heavier 150cc bikes like Unicorn & Pulsars?? How is the handling like?? Good enough to do runs of above 100/200/300/400 kms??

Just asking you since you ride a lot and have ridden the Twister a lot ... 14000 in a year is bit on higher side

                      Ride safe,
                      Abu
Hi Abu, The bike gives 35kmpl to 40 kmpl when I ride it with full throttle(90 to 100kmphr...Yes I managed to bring the needle above 100 lols...poor thing). . Compared to the Classic pulsar I have previously owned, it's not stable. And it vibrates. The rear wheel skids (blame it on the low wait and MRF zapper) if you brake on wet surface no matter how slow you are. I have not ridden beyond 200kms in one stretch. So I cannot comment on the looonnng rides. But you wont feel tired even after such a long journey. But after a long ride (say 100kms) if you touch anything you will get an odd feeling on ur palms/fingers..lols..coz of the vibration. My riding style may be helping me here to use it for long rides...I dont exert too much force on gripping the handle, whenever there is a hump/pothole I lift my butt and stand, I wear helmet and all other riding gear, full throttle only in empty stretch.
But if I ride it normally on a speed of 50kmphr I get (75 kmpl in highway and 60 in city). Overall I'm happy with the bike except the top speed..lols(Cannot ask for more from a 49000 bike. I hate when all the cars overtake me on the highway. So planning to buy a Karizma. But confused whether to wait for tubeless version or buy a used one and change the tyres to tubless.
Love the ride, not the destination

                        • Hi All,
I just saw a 'HiQuality MultiPurpose BrightSilver Spray Paint from KOBE' in eBay. I guess, If I spray the same on my bike's exhaust's silver paint which has rusted a bit,it shall just work out. Need suggestions/advices.

Hi Rana, dont expect too much from Twister. Even I also felt it as a 150cc bike when I took the test ride. Yes, I'm referring to the initial pick up in the first gear. But it lose out its breath once it reaches 50kmphr. Apart from the vibration, the bike is good. Mileage, moderate power, tubeless tyres(life saver and remember even karizma doesn't have those). Opt for electric start version.I'm missing it when the bike stops in the middle of the traffic and in the signals (Mine dont have one). But disc brakes are not at all necessary. Btw, at times I ask myself, even a cd deluxe (Rs42000) can give you the same service .

From the internet and all I got a feeling that bajaj bikes are like five fingers in our hand. If you take 5 bikes, each one behaves in a different way. If one is good then the other is bad. So dont take chances(no offense to bajaj bike owners).

It doesn't wobble even at 100. But in wet surface it's very scary even at 30.
