Pulsar 150 UG2 CDI coil problem

Hi.... I need serious help for my pulsar 150 dtsi ug2 2004 model.
My pulsar had an issue that it suddenly failed to start, and after 10 minutes it starts successfully. So i found this problem with my CDI coil (DH11 1019) l, but i can not find this original part so i replaced it with other part with number DH11 1056 , with this CDI i never faced starting problem but i faced misfiring issue at higher RPMs. what can i do now can any one help with this because i have tried many CDI coils with different part numver and the original i.e.(DH11 1019) is not available anywhere.

    pulsar 150 ug2 engine modification

I own pulsar 150 ug2 2006 model. Engine oil level decreases very fast. I want to change the cylinder kit with a new pulsar 150 cylinder kit. I prefer good mileage and better top speed. I need some advice regarding this. can I use some other newer version cylinder kit other than ug2 cylinder kit. I think of replacing the valve with new ones. Is it adviceable to replace other parts like clutch, and cam shaft. I expect the engine is worn out due to use. I don't know exactly how many kms done because speedometer not working. I use it at least 5 kms per day and occassionaly 200 kms also. Please suggest list of parts that will require replacement along with pulsar model for best results. Thank you in advance.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar 150 All Versions

Hi all, My bike has been slowly drinking oil and having crossed 53k kms, I think piston/bore replacement is due. I want to know what all parts are usually changed along with the piston/bore ? My mechanic told me they'd have to change the timing chain, valves, tappets, camshaft etc etc. Do all these parts actually need to be changed He gave me a cost estimate of 10k-12k minimum. Although they do good work, over time I kinda feel that with the smallest of issues, they prefer replacing the parts, I may be mistaken but I'd like a second opinion.

Another Bike point mechanic told me to just keep topping up the oil and drive on On my insistence, he gave me a quote of around 5-6k to replace the bore/piston.

I'm confused as to which one to trust If anyone knows any good mechanics in the Pashan/Baner/Hinjewadi area in Pune, please do suggest

What i think is when you are engaging 4th gear at speeds of 20-30, it is causing engine knocking.
And for the rpm to keep on fluctuating, i had similar issue where when i cold start my engine, it never used to hold a steady rpm, it would simply die. Upon proper heat up, the rpm would be stable at around 1500 rpm.
My mechanic (usually works with Bajaj bikes) quickly diagnosed it as loose tappets and he did tappet adjustment. It was resolved then. Bike's response has been improved post that. My bike has clocked 27k KMs.

Mechanic told that he has tightened the timing chain. I ride the bike and I felt the sound was good.

After reaching home, I observed the engine at a closer look and noticed one extra bolt as highlighted in the picture below

if this is a proper fix?, After couple of months of riding, I dont see still the rattle sound coming again.

But could it be doing any harm to the engine in a long run?, Can you please suggest if it needs any immediate attention.

Please note:- I have changed my Bike's bore piston and head including the cam chain only 10 months back .
    Any help/Suggestions?

Also the rev Keeps fluctuating automatically, I have to manually set it from carburettor almost every day. I got it checked with the agency as well as local mechanic but both failed, the pick up of the machine has decreased very much too. Please help as to where exactly is the fault.
