Overhauling Experience of pulsar ug 4.5

    Hi friends,
Recently got my pulsar ug 4.5 engine overhauled at 28500kms on odo, bacause it had started sipping engine oil. Engine piston and cylinder kit was replaced with standard kit from Bajaj. Valves too were replaced. After overhauling I observed white smoke during cold starts asked the mechanic about it but he was not ready to accept that there was any problem. After observing it for 2000kms I found that bike was still consuming about 60-70 ml per 400 kms. Got engine opened once again, Changed the piston rings. Now the white smoke is gone for good. But still spark plugs are gettind dirty. There is a blackish liquid on spark plug threads and black residue on negative electrode. I am posting pics of spark plugs which have completed 16000 kms. Please tell me what is the problem left now.

    Thanks ! Will check.

Aftermarket disc brake pads for Bajaj Pulsar 150.

    Hey all !
So the brakes on my p150 ug4.5 do not work as expected at all. The front disc pads need replacement. Any ideas on disc pads other than the ones supplied by Bajaj ?
Can I upgrade the whole brake assembly to Bybre ?
Also, I am thinking of getting steel braided line from p220. Already using DOT4 oil.
    Thanks everyone.

It sounds like "wooo" with the speed.when i release the throttle it increases and really irritates me....i tried and observed that its somewhere the middle and back side of my bike....i already triee tightning and lubricating the chain...thinking it of a loose chain noise....can you please ??

Check air screw on the bike and tune it first.

I have pulsar 150 UG4 2013 model with 25700 KM. All services done in authorized Bajaj service center at Bangalore. No outside work so far.
From past one week I am observing that oil is coming out of my silencer. Given to the service center where I used to give from day 1 in Bangalore.
There is no white\Black smoke coming from exhaust. Engine is fine. Last service done at 23400KM.

Here are the assumption made by the technicians at first sight.

    1. Engine bore kit replacement needed
    2. Silencer change is needed.

Since it ran only below 26000 KM I told there no chance of bore kit & silencer replacement since I have done all the services on time (4000-5000 KM).
They have checked the pulsar job code history and found that all the service were done in their center only.
Advised me to keep the bike there for 1 day. Morning they will check whether any white smoke coming out while starting.
I went back on second day and they have told like there is no issue with the piston. Engine oil is fine. No smoke is coming while starting.
Gave me the explanation that probably children/somebody have put some oil from backside to the exhaust.
I have asked is there any issue with piston ring? They told no issues are there.
I am not satisfied with the response so far. Anybody have experienced this kind of oil leak in past.
    Please suggest the path forward

They are trying to cheat you, its no oil leak, but the paint is boiling up due to wear and tear
