4 to 5 k for sometime will not harm at all

and can we open up the bike in 5th gear after first servicing like allowing it to cross the 4k rpm mark and going upto 6k or so... or we should stick to the run-in till 2000 kms... please tell...bored of following the run-in strictly.... and the second servicing is @ 2500kms.. long time...sheesh...
as Richard said - its very true that u can speed above 5K rpm but make sure u do only for a very short time .. dont drag ur engine in any case..
let the "boring" Run-in be complete then u will hav a engine block that will love to go on higher rpm.

              1. Chain slack adjustment, Removing the chain lock.
              2. Changing the carb mixture (lean/rich).

Do any you DIY guys know how to carry out these on the P150 DTSi? If yes, then please do post the procedures!

The mags and other tests reported it to be about 112kmph at that time.
Personally I have hit 120 on the speedo.

@Richard-very true, I also did 120kmph on my DTSi 150 V1. Also to add the speedo showed 130kmph while coming down from incline. ya for very few sec's, but yes 130kmph on odo. Wow!!!

I myself have touched 125 speedo indicated few times, but normally it touches 120 easily.

Yes, you can fit an electric starter(Rs.1800). You also need to upgrade the battery to 9A.

add rs.1300 (approx) for Exide 9xm batt , more 300 bucks for Amaron MF series.

                                hi
                                I have a Feb 2006 model ug2, odo reading 32007.8 tonight.
Could anyone tell me when to change the spark plugs and how much it may cost
also, the panel in my speedo on which the numbers are written vibrates if i go over 20 as if it is loose. Is there any way it can be rectified?

what is the top speed and average you all are getting?
mine goes to 105 and average is 58-60
