i read somewhere that you need to adjust the screw beneath the headlight dome. but i couldn't find the screw.
please provide any pictures if possible.

It may not be harmful but sometimes spark may misfire.. that is when you quick accelerate the bike it may misfire and the Coil has to work more to cover that extra gap even though its small. In some sites it was mentioned that the coil (CDI) life may reduce or may fail.

UG2 CDI is very complicated when compared to others. slightest modification done results in misfiring and may result in failure of CDI. Because of these reasons UG2 CDI DH 11 1056 was discontinued and in its place P180 CDI DJ 11 1017 is being supplied as a spare part.

My advice is try it on your own risk

Pulsar 150 never gets that much hot when compared to other bikes. 10+ years with Pulsar and more than that with other bikes. Did 500kms+ long trips so many times on my UG2. Bike engine never got heated that much. karizma heats up a lot when compared to P150 then do u mean that its a bad bike..??

Twin sparks got very little to do with heating. Heat produced due to burning of fuel and movement of metal parts inside the engine and other factors.

if your bike is heating then these are the problems..

-- More air fed to engine. Lean mixture. Turn Air screw clockwise completely. Turn the Air screw to exactly 3 1/4 to 3 1/2 turns anti clockwise (3 1/2 preferable and also u can try 3 3/4 turns) Also Check how clean is your air filter.

-- Bad engine oil or engine oil life exceeded 2500kms. Always stick to xW50 for Pulsar 150. it produces better results than xW40. Try to source Valvoline xtra premium oil. No oil can beat this one. Its VFM.

--Unnecessary throttling in tight traffics and in other situations.

Yes Pulsar suffers from shitty quality, replace everything mentioned, because these parts work together if any one of them is weak/old, it would affect the other new parts.

I remember someone on the forum use it on a pulsar.. He used a normal electrode with the negative arm removed so that it resembles a surface discharge type. You can search the forum for the post..
