    Me too asked in same showroom only . And I'm getting the same reply since two weeks back. The bike wil be reaching by next week.

      Checked with couple of dealers here in Mumbai n they replied R3 would be here by month end. Any idea where in Mumbai is this bike available for display/sale?

        again checked in one more showroom near my place, strange the OTR price they quoted is 7k [3.91L against 3.84L ] more than the other showroom.

        this time i clearly checked the bike against R15 , apart from front view , sadly look wise comes very near to R15 and its just marginally bigger. i say its a super compact and once sat on the bike , it feels very good. although officially TR not available but able to get very short ride [100 mtrs] , sound is very good, acceleration is linear, no vibes. i say in single line, --> its RC390 with all negative things covered [power+refinement+reliability+quality+compact+peace of mind]

        my word : if your a serious fan of yamaha or need very reliable and compact machine and not interested about show offs then go for it

                The price is being revised by Yamaha. The price will change in a few days or week nobody knows.

                  Today Arnab also took the delivery of R3



                  Also got a chance to test ride bike for a longer distance on airport road of Bangalore.


                  4th gear red line at 144
                  5th gear red line at173
                  6th gear at 10krpm I was at around 163
                  Bike doesn't cries at redlining in any gear apart from 1st gear
                  Acceleration is perfect and very linear
                  Apart from seating comfortability even the foot pegs are placed in much comfortable angle
                  Just made couple of innovas run for their power
                  Bike easily stops from 160kmph speed without shaking or skidding
                  And gave a RC run for it's money
                  Last but not the least one can easily cruise on it at 140
                  Apart from 1st gear it doesn't cries on redlining at other gears.
                  Personally I felt very comfortable redlining at 5th gear and 6th gear

                  Seating and leg position is in much relaxed position as compared to R15.
                  I am pretty sure my legs won't cramp on long rides as was with the case in r15 were chances of cramp was high on endurance/long rides.

                  Horn sucks big time
                  And rvms also

                                Thanks for the picture and short review. Will you be able to request the owner of R3 to click some pictures with a pillion from a short distance, maybe from front and side views. Just wanted to see how tall/short it will be compared to R15.
