Seating and leg position is in much relaxed position as compared to R15.
I am pretty sure my legs won't cramp on long rides as was with the case in r15 were chances of cramp was high on endurance/long rides.

    Horn sucks big time
    And rvms also
tell me how it sounds in high rpm ,

i also liked the seating position, its super

pillion seat is very comfortable and its much less height compared to R15 V2 , and also rider seat height is also low [good for short height ppl]

          Cruelty of Bangalore RTO continues.
          RTO has increased there charges.
R3 is costing now 3.93 with normal insurance on road in Bangalore and with Zero Dep insurance it is costing 3.96.

          All Hail RTO Bangalore.
Jahan panha tussi great ho mera shit kubool karon.

They just made me more confirmed to not pick such a costly bike in Bangalore.

Riding it will offcourse bring a wide smile under your lid. But no chance of booking. That too after increase in RTO rate I am sure not getting it.

By the way just confirmed that RTO Bangalore rates have increased and now with Zero Depreciation Insurance it is costing 3.96 Lakhs in Bangalore.

Is it a Walk-in or do I have to apply for an interview?
I will pass on the congratrulations to Arnab.
As said by Abhishek I test rode the test Bike.
Test ride available in Pacer Yamaha, Hebbal Bangalore.

One suggestion, atleast wear a helmet while test riding.
I saw at showroom reckless guys getting test ride without helmet.
Blasted on showroom guys to not allow it, lets see what they have done.

Pilion will be at almost same height as in R15 as height is same but again it is designed such that pillion will not fall on rider.
Will post such pics by tomorrow.

When we crank up the bike it sound like a Superbike with ssweet sound of exhaust.
At 7k+ rpm it just refines and disappear at high speed. Very less sound. Just an audible refined sound of weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeiiiiiinnnnnnnnnn (understand the emotions )

That is just so ridiculous... I am thinking 100 times before upgrading my bike just because of pathetic condition of roads where I stay (BG Road). Think roads are equally bad in most areas within bangalore. I fail to understand why we have to pay such a high tax for such pathetic infrastructure?

I was thinking it will be anywhere close to 3.8 or 3.85 max. If its almost 4 lacs , think I better pay another 30k and go for Ninja - Personally I feel Ninja looks better and reliability is proven over a decade... This is really getting close and confusing choice !!!

I am with you mate. At that high cost, at least a Ninja seems a better choice cause it has a slipper clutch.
Something new from the current gen.
I wish I was in delhi.
I feel like getting the Bike from Chennai with TN registration.

The R3 doesn't have Yamaha's legendary delta box frame! This will affect the cornering abilities on the twisties. Wonder why the designers didn't incorporate it, especially for a bike claimed to be built from scratch. This could be a deal breaker for many potential buyers I think.

Because sir then you would have said it is more expensive than a Ninja 300 and almost as close to ninja 650 and generally lambasted the marketing people at Yamaha as suicidal and went ahead and bought a Splendor. That's why.

They saved money by not giving a Delta box frame, but some how Yamaha always manages to make the best handling motorcycle in the market, I know that it will not be as sharp as a rc390 because of the frame, but still with that beautiful twin cylinder and spot on power curve it will be in and out of the corner in a jiffy, where the vibey singles lack. Would have loved to own this awesome machine if I had not booked a rc390 and the price was a little less. Too greedy I guess.
