  • @insane: The white-faced Bajaj displays have a greater speedo error than the older black-faced ones. Aryan da will vouch for this observation.
Other than that, there's nothing amiss

        Man, I salute your dedication

Some "NOs " can create such rippling effects......
        classic example......

        Anyways "salute" taken....

Yep maverick, u r right. I have also observed that. I think Bajaj wanted to give the owners a feel-good factor by providing a more optimistic speedo

One good thing that was with the pulsars(a good accurate speedo) now goes down the drain
When everything comes ur way, u r in the wrong way ;)

          • Yes pulsar's digital console as well as the RPM needle are far sluggish as compared to that of the R15 or the Apache.Even the new discover 135 shows changes in speed faster than the pulsars. Pulsars are more like 2 4 8 10 etc. they jump digits when bike is accelerated. But the others go almost sequentially.Very less often do they skip digits.Thats because of a faster display controller used in them. The needles on the apache and R15 are very responsive. There's a problem with the response time of the controller chip in the console which results in slower decoding of the electrical signals sent to it by sensors and hence a lil delay in displaying too.
This results in the sluggishness seen in the pulsar digital consoles.
Too bad Bajaj guys overlooked this flaw even in the new series.IMO no one pointed this out to them so even they ignored!!

I'm not comparing it to a Honda or a Yammie, nor did I mentioned those technical upgrades are not welcomed. I'm talking about the 'looks' department-the split rail-grab, tank scoops... In short, there's not much difference except the 200-180 sticker b/w the 180UGIV and 200 .

I know devilpulsarian wont accept this (note pulsar in his name) and will again give me a reply in terms of Honda

                            200 UGIII?

Excuse me , there is only one version of the 200. The new one is yet to be launched.

U can compare the 180 UGIV with the 200 after the new 200 is launched.

And BTW, u seem to have no answer for my last reply to u

But yes, some "Probikers" think that their exclusivity is stolen even if a 150/180 guy installs the split grab raiils of the 200/220. Let them go to hell They act as if they own copyright/patent for the split grab rails
You mean that one feels cool if a lesser cc pulsar is given the looks of one's greater cc pulsar?. hah! Go ask the pulsar 200 users around you(except those die hard fans like devilpulsarian), and know how disappointed they're with bajaj. Even our favorite mod Aryan da was not that happy when this upgrade was first forecasted. Its a natural instinct you see.

Ok.. so companies should stop churning out better products just because its Older customers wouldn't approve of it..

                                Got it.
