Breakin over! Well almost. Last fifty miles left for official figure.
Damn the official figure , its dewali.
Loaded the Torque monster tune today. Ran the auto tune as well to correct volumetric efficiency table.
Hammer performance provided me with a good tune .
It stated in description column- for 80 cuinch/ V&H short strokes (without baffles)/ Jokermachines big radius air cleaner.
After autotune power vision corrected the VE , at places , especially low rpm(upto 3000rpm) i was loosing VE by 5%. Between 4k-5k was gaining by same 5%-7%.
Did not get a chance to test much beyond 5k, so 6k-7k still remains to be corrected. Clutch is slipping badly under hard acceleration.
Also had some knocking problem around 1500 or so rpm under load/ acceleration.
Will see what can be done.
FUNFACT: While autotuning I was gunning the engine every now and then! During one such acceleration run, I twisted the wrist and short while later Thought to myself ," I must slow Down , i must be on atleast 100kph. Not good for City streets."
threw a look at the speedo. Damn! When I thought I would be doing 100 I was actually just crossing 140.
Also Good to know that I crossed 20k km in just about 18months. Well most of SBKs get sold off before they see a 15.


Coming to your question, dustom ji, Honestly I may now not be an avid rider like you and many people on this forum but would like to modify the bike in terms of the exhausts, air filters, HID lights, GC and probably to a 1250 later. I have been advised to think about these after about 1-2K on the odometer. Hence just reading and Trying to understand the things. For Exhausts I might go for V&H, for air filters I am looking at the Kuryakyn , Still looking for good HID and finally for GC and other yourself is there(!).It would be great help to me and other newbies on the forum if you can advise
