if it is a thick one , then its a full sleeve job , in full sleeve job the entire sleeve is bored out from the cylinder and a new standard size sleeve is inserted and finished , in half sleeve a thin sleeve is used , only a portion of the old sleeve is removed and a new thin sleeve is inserted and finished, half sleeves tend to overheat and also robs performance, not to mention it cannot be rebored in most cases

PS: if you were resleeving it the why not sleeve it to std size , why did you go for 2nd os

What was the method used for this sleeving job was it done by the way of HEAT shrinking, or the old school way of hammering.

There is no tell-tale for pump failure and we may end up with engine seizure if the pump isn't running.
Also small blockage / leakage in oil hose will reduce the quantity of oil pumped.

I think that would be half sleeve with thin sleeves in my case, since the lathe guy said cannot bore to std size because the block is abused and cant guarantee whether it might work as expected with respect to STD , hence i assume it should be half sleeves with 2nd OS.

Thanks kb100 for sharing this . I soon might acquire new block+piston after the current setup is conked off

It was done with the CNC Machine [HEAT Shrinking i do assume again, because it wasnt manually hammered]

How is this possible that one will not know that the pump has stopped working, if a working pump fails suddenly, you will realise in few kms that something has gone wrong, gear shifting will be hard, engine sound will change dramatically, this has happened to my bike once, although the pump was fine but the feeder pipe which carry oil from pump to carb got clogged suddenly and in just few kms the gears got hard, and the engine was sounding as if something is grinding inside, plus the engine accelarating power dropped.

Don't you think this "few km" isn't sufficient to kill a engine with the amount of heat & rpm that is working with?

And I don't understand why gears should go hard when 2T oil isn't pumped.

What is the relation of cylinder abnormal operation to the gear shift when you run out of 2T feed from pump ?

Please note that the auto lube pumps provided by the OEM's are very reliable. They hardly fail.
One must be aware of inspecting the pump at regular intervals for its correct operation cycle which is to check:
                - Guide pin position WRT the closed throttle position
                - Minimum pump stroke
                - Oil system bleeding
                - Oil flow check.
Take these basic precautions and you are just right. The pump shall never disappoint you.

At times people try to switch between the different lube brands without even looking into the viscosity grade.
Yamaha has calibrated its oil pump to a certain range of viscosity of oils.
For example, imagine a pump meant for pumping out water is made to pump out thick viscous oil- The pump internals are definitely going to suffer due
to the increased stress on its gear teeth.

PS: Having crossed this limit shall only give you bad lube flow and eventually they blame the lube pump.

I also didn't understood this part either, but gears got hard, when i took the bike to my mechanic fortunately which was near i asked him the same question and he said if the 2t flow is stopped then gears will get hard because piston is not running smoothly and instead of 2t oil engine is just sucking air hence afr is leaning because of which i was feeling the hardness in gears.

I doubt your mechanic is unaware that he should use Clutch while changing gears, which in-turn will disengage the engine & gear box.

I totally agree to you Mr. augmentor 2t pump are almost bullet proof they seldom fails, and yes if a pump is designed to pump water it cannot pump thick oil from it's orifice, as recently i was thinking of using fs 2t oil from motul but then came to know it's too thick and shouldn't be used through pump and should only be used as premix, even the bottle also warns you on this regard.

Very true Mr. boss, i wasn't totally convinced with his answer but i still give him the credit as he is yamaha trained and more experienced than me, and infact i felt the gears got suddenly hard.

Is there a change in carburetor jet for RX135 & RXG?

My RX135 is running with 165 / 17.5 jets. Today I opened the RXG carburetor to clean it and checked the jets, there is nothing printed / engraved on the jets. Though I don't face any issues with the current jets, I have a spare RX135 jets (better in shapes than the one available right now) and I would like to fix them.

They share the same pilot and main jet. If Mikuni symbol is not engraved over the jets then they must be aftermarket jets. If you have spare genuine ones then use them as you never know what size the existing jets are calibrated to.

Why do you want to go for alloy wheels, alloy wheels spoils the look of rx100, but if you are adamant on going for alloys gladiator alloys are a direct fit.
