      Nice info mate..!!

I had also gone through some rectifier regulator theory ...12.7 v ac generated by coil is not sufficiant to give constant 12v dc output coz output of full wave rectifier is 0.637 Vmax .

We have to look some another options.

        • Need help in improving Yamaha RXG performance.

          Hi experts,

I recently bought an YAMAHA RXG and completed my restoration before 6 months. It was not up to my expectations.

The pick up of the bike is very low and top end is also less, reaches 95 max.

I cant the ride the bike at a constant speed for more than a min. For eg, if I ride at 40, the sounds becomes flittering. I need to either accelerate or de-accelerate to bring a constant sound.

The bike had a RX 100 carburetor since I didn't get an RXG one. I got a used RX 135 carburetor and fitted it with standard jet. No Changes yet.

The bike also has jerking issues at low speed.

please let me know where to start with fixing these issues.

          • Yamaha fazer- Tyre and oil

Let me start with a question -
is the stock tyre - by stock i mean the one which i got a year and a half back i.e. nearly 18 months back puncture-ful ( couldn't find a better word ) . I have had atleast 10 punctures - not to mention the starting period when i was new to biking itself and drove around with a puncture for a good month or two .
An uncle who owns a garage told me that the stock tyre does have a problem - and getting a new tyre would solve the puncture issue - how exactly ?
Will the new tyre be puncture proof ? is getting a new tyre a good idea ? - people say get a tube installed in the tyre instead -

I have no clue about oils and their effect on the bike/performance - could someone please tell me which oil i could try - other than the mineral - which has a longer life ?

Also i have been getting a weird vibration feeling from the handle when i use the front brake - its like the front handlebar is all lose -
Thank you for being patient and reading this
            Regards
NO matter how many Cars/Bikes/Trucks/animals . on the road , you must still rely on your ability :D

Dude 10 punctures in 18 months is very bad. The tyre is definetly to blame. It may be a manufacturing defect because even soft compound tyres which are prone to flats last longer without punctures. Unless you're riding on roads made of nails. Get a new tyre man. Don't risk your life by changing only the inner tube. No new tyre is puncture proof but it is thicker than a used tyre due to the lack of wear on it and hence more puncture resistant. To prevent mishaps you can also go for tyre sealent fluid in the inner tube. As for oil try motul or wurth its good. As for vibrations check cone set and tighten the main nut of the fork. Hope tis helps. 😊

Get the bike's carburettor tuned properly. How's the spark plug? Check that.

                Cheers,

The bulb would be fine if you're running the bike continuously. Not in short bursts, like in the city. My Zma also struggles with the 55/60 in the city

                  Cheers,

There is a tyre thread with relevant info on it for you and also the Yamaha fz and fazer combo thread where you can get the info you need. Also I think you're talking about Mrf revz tyres. They are the best for a fazer. Alternately the ceat series zappers are softer comparatively with good wet grip.
So please post your query in appropriate thread for best response as this is the RX series random questions thread

                              hello friends...
plz help me with a problem regarding my rx100.
when I was restoring my rx, I changed the old wiring with a new one from swiss. but after a few days, my battery which was in very good condition became dead. afterwards I bought a new battery and then checked the charging, the mechanic said the charging is faulty and suggested me to replace the rectifier. so I changed the rectifier but the problem is still there.
if someone has thorough knowledge about it, then plz help me about the issue that is this a problem with the cable or with something else.

                              • Little help regarding the rx135 cylinder kit.

Hi, guys I have a doubt regarding the cylinder kit of rx135.I had recently bought a rx135 2004 model and I have left it for a service and full checking of the bore and the engine but when the service guy removed the bore the cylinder edge(i actually don't know the name of it) was half shelved or was it like that as default, it looks like a moon shape or cut it in that way I want to know if it came like that or the previous owner did it to get some more juice out of it? cause when i see other bore pictures it's looks like a thick metal connecting the O ring but mine looks like it scrubbed in a moon shape and made more narrower and very thin ,It's a E4 bore 4TL00 132cm^3.

Here i am going to post a picture from a google of someone else's bore and the part which i am trying to point at.Please let me know do I have to change the bore itself or i can make do with it and ride it without a problem cause the service guy is telling me to get a new bore which costs a bomb.
