Finally added RD350 meter to my rx100, got the rpm meter to work.
Added disc brakes too.
Now for some performance .
For that i need your help.
I was thinking about getting a bigger carb.
What will be its advantages and dis advantages ?
What is the size of a stock rx100 (micarb) ?
i have sourced a 32mm racing carb , whats your opinion on this ?
Also i have sourced performance clutches , how will that help ?
what about sproketing ?
(i am a total noob so forgive me for this )

stock rx uses a 20mm venturi carburettor the 32mm one you have is too large for the stock r100
so you're saying i cant fix a 32mm carb ? what about the other mods i mentioned ?
you can fix the 32mm carb but it wont give you the gains you are expecting and your fe will go down the drain simplybecause it is too large , about the performance clutch ,you did not mention whether the stuff you have are clutch plates or a new clutch assembly or the so called easy clutch , sprocketing can give results but you have to specify what exactly are you looking for ,hard acceleration or higher top speed , and you cant achieve both at the same time with sproketing alone , please post a few pics of the parts you have so that we can have some idea what you have and how much you got ripped

I havent bought anything !
I was asking you guys about what i should buy.
It is a NMW clutch plates (high performance) they say. So if i use a high performance clutch , i can get better initials right ?
So then i can go for a top speed sproket . So i can get a balance between initials and top end performance right ?
All parts are available. But the price difference between a 4s and a 5s is very big. In that you can buy another 4s. So if you don't want top speed 4s is the best. Regarding piston cylinder pistons are same for both. And cylinder you will get brand new 5s cylinders I series. You can put it on 4 speed. So no worries.

Arun Rx100 is not a best choice for performance mods. It's a classic legend to cruise. But an 135 will be the better choice to do a performance mod. You can port ur engine, free flow filter, expansion chamber, bigger carb , sprocket ing etc.

i understand . But what i have is a 100 .
And i have heard many claims of rx100 beating 135 in short runs. (acceleration to 80)
My 100 used to have great performance but recently i felt a drop in power .
i did an exhaust port . a bit better now. But i want more !
mine can easily smoke a p150. But i want to take on bikes like p180.

Install a vm22 carb from the 135 coupled with a uni filter. Get a good chamber. Fyi, it would have been better if you had a 135. Has more potential than a 100.

Rx100 has a good initial pickup. But top end is very less compared to 135.
You can do the changes as bibhu suggested. You get better than your existing power.
If you are looking for more power then convert it into a 135. Change the block to 135 one and go for vm28 carb with full porting and the changes I mentioned above.
Regarding beating a p150 is only possible in short run in your current setup. And also depends on the rider, his weight, tyre size , bike weight all these matters.

True. I do not believe a 100 can beat a p150 in the long run. Also, converting to a 135 is the best mod. However i suggest a vm26 carb.
