I am not very sure about the logos. All I know is that the ones I have are really old ones and they are faded very badly. Hence I have purchased an old set of logos for >500 bucks and getting it spray painted and lacquered to look like new (hopefully!).

The left hand switchgear is from the RX. There are many things/parts that people use in common between the RK and the RX. The Yezdi Rim, the Yezdi dome, etc. And you will find the RX switchgear and fuel filters on the RK.

I see that you have a PP piston there. Its widely believed that the engine doesn't quite make the same power with those PP Pistons.

Its because of this very reason that I have not gone for a new Bore-Piston kit. I am holding out that, someday I will find it justifiable to pay a premium for a Mahle/Escorts Piston (if its available at that stage i.e).

ohk forgot to tel you, the "GOLD" logos i told you are for 200Rs a pair in JAIN, but i dint see a single RK with full gold logo's til now except mine

(left side of the tank!)
so i need only one of the logos-genuine with black n gold combo.
damn am not getting enuf time to search maga, hopefully will start some serious searchin by this weekend;will bug you lot in the coming days

@sandeep/srini: a friend of mine in mysore just restored his dad's CL. sad thing is his bro sold the headlamp assembly at a premium price when the bike was not running! so could you guys help me to source one?

@ sandeep, the bike is not running, to make it run i can use a pp now, but i am looking for a bore piston, so might keep em inside once i get it.
@ VAS, what do u meant my the headlight assembly????
CL2 did have the headlight similar to RK??

sorry was a typo, had classic in mind and typed CL2!

can i get this kind of assembly, i contacted JAIN, and one shop in bangy (near navrang), dint find it.

Hey what excatly u want? the front glass, inner reflector, and the holder. am i right?

He is the only guy who knows how to get genuine yezdi parts. He is the guy who has helped me in sourcing all these difficult-to-get parts ..like the logos and the speedo. All from Shivajinagar. Contact him - I think you might be in luck !

i know , last saturday when i had been there. all the roads were completely clogged. luckily i was not with my kingggg.

if i am going there, i will take my aunt's luna
