    I've always been running on FS, say for over 3 years now?
    @JD - Vehicle stranded once again; unable to make the cable. Its paining to see the vehicle without the gas tank & seats & left to drench in rain!!!

      cut the end of the outer off, like i told you on the phone. much easier and quicker, than searching for a welder.

        @JD its not that easy besides Gas welding melts the wire like crazy!!! I'll need the exact size of outer as well as inner wire from throttle to carbs without which there's a huge ply. If the ply needs to be resolved, I need to cut, but by how much is an unknown answer. Since there're lots of pulls with springs & twists with throttle the measurement is not making sense. I've lost 2 cables already in this process.

              Let me reiterate, I've a 28mm flat slides & OE throttle grip & assy; I've availed no luck with OE cable & having hopes only with RE throttle cable. Not sure how far I can succeed & hence posting the question to the experts so as I can avoid any mistakes.

              Ram, let the steed get into running mode first & then complete its run in period; don't have too much expectation, as I told you before, the sound is like Yazuki or Samaha;

                      No yaar, why would I joke? If I don't know, I admit I don't know & wouldn't hesitate to learn.

                      I didn't know about PWK as I've been using FS from Mikuni; guys now don't tell me Mikuni doesn't makes a FS, that's the last thing I want to hear!!!

                      Anyway, the point is I MADE THE CABLE ALL BY MYSELF!!! & at the end of the day, it gave me an immense pleasure to have learned something new.



                      Now I'm damn confident of what it takes to make the customized cable for my RX. Though it looks like OE, it is a throttle cable made out of RE's cable & some RX parts, especially at the throttle end.

                      And the greatest & latest update is....guess what?

                      MY HOME BUILT MOTORCYCLE IS READY TO HIT THE ROAD!!!

                      If it doesn't rain tomorrow (like today), I'm taking first to a temple & then get going to office.

                        So you bought an another cable from a 4 stroke bike ? or OE

                                Simple - Premix; I'm under the impression that its going to be a tough job making oil pump working along with a TS carb. Correct me if I'm wrong.
