Thanks Kusmaker. I spoke to another seasoned mech who knows a chap who could just pull it off. Yet to see how they would though. Will keep this thread posted. I'll keep the information on the OE parts when I go again to pick up the chain cover on Tuesday.

    Thanks,

Hi Bharat. All the stuff that I bought were from Bangalore wheels. Haven't checked about the bore kits though. Will check and update soon. I wasn't very happy with a few spares though. Especially the tank lid that I bought. It has a strange sticker!

      Hi,
I have seen this sticker on my cousin's bike and he has not replaced this part since he bought his vehicle. I hope it comes with that sticker in some old models.
My 2t darling came back from service and mechanic said that there is a slight noise in bore as crank shaft has some play and should be repaired in next service. My bike is currently running on 0.25 oversize and planning to stock up a bore as backup.
here's the pic of the bike. Sorry for poor lighting.

It's not strange buddy, this sticker is part of the fuel cap lid, although the design has changed in the past when this bike was manufactured the sticker was part of the lock, is this sticker available separately, i mean without this lock pls check it out at the shop if it is available and if it is then can you purchase it for me.A little bit of crank play is normal, small end freeplay should not be more than 1.5~2.00 mm.

Getting the sidelock assembly welded is my first task on the list. Hope it goes well.

The OE seat isn't available anymore. I enquired yesterday. Apparently the supply was stopped 2 years back. If you do find it at any other place in Bangalore please let me know.
Meanwhile, I'll enquire about the tank lid sticker. I saw someone selling it on OLX for Rs.100/-!! Pretty crazy.

I checked about the bore and it indeed is available. Rs.8500/- for both 4S and 5S. Do you think its a good idea to stock up on it now? Anyone has any experience in stocking up the future essentials of a RX135? Storage methods and a list may be?

PS: I'd also like to know the quality of the stuff from "safexbikes". Glad to see some after market stuff surfacing.

Oe seat is still available i think is around 1100rs/- and the cost of the bore is ok, you can stock up now if you want to keep the rx-135, just keep it in the area which is devoid of moisture coat the inner side of the bore with plenty of oil, oil the piston, and you can keep it safe as long as you want.

can you please elaborate on the need to "oil the piston" before storing it

To save piston rings I guess.... unoiled piston rings will become brittle and life will shorten kya? Thats why the piston rings packets even contain oil?
I think there is more reason to it, my bro will guide....more

If one wants to store his bike or engine for more than six months, you have to protect your cylinder and piston rings from potentially rusting, although If one wants to store a running engine for long time one thing a person can do is to remove the spark plug and squirt some light oil into the cylinders and rotate it couple of turn then screw the plug back finger tight, this will protect piston rings from seizing, whenever you want to use the engine just spin the engine to remove most of the oil,and you are good to go, or one can use a product called fogging oil, i feel same is the case with if one wants to store fresh cylinder, plug all the ports with rags to prevent entering of rodents.
