I agree with you, if u have a shogun or shaolin just keep it in your garage and occasionally take it and ride it ....they are definitely not suitable for daily usage nowadays

...Yamaha RX bikes are still used by many riders....but I'd suggest them to keep their baby safe and use some 4-stroke for daily use...

Let share some experience on my recent visit to Mysore. Had stayed enroute to Madikeri. My ZMA got dirty and badly needed a wash, on searching the entire town, then suddenly came across a relatively narrow street with only bikes & Mechanics (vaguely remember Samdey St or something like that). To me it looked like a mecca of 2 strokes (though there were 4 strokes, but less). Hero Puch and Hero Shakti, uff! they were modded and racing on the streets. Infact, I have never seen so many Hero Puch at once. Wheelies, FFE and what not with 65cc engine!!

@Karthik - can you recognize this place/area?

It has to be the Double Road, thats where you find most of the automobile stores & every galli (cross) in this main road has a mechanic shop full of 2-strokes. You can find lot of Yezdis also.

The moment one enters Mysore city limits, he or she can start hearing the 2-strokes screaming here & there. Most likely it will be RX135s with FFE (Mod job done on the existing cat-con exhaust to sound like an EC). Its really crazy & 90% of these bikes are in excellent condition.

Next time if it is not for Mysore/Madikeri, at least for these roads, would make a visit!
