        Ladakh Plan and Prep 2013

        Hello Biker Friends,
        I am Mohan Janwe from Pune. I own an R15 V2. I am planning for a 23 day long tour to LEH-Ladakh in the month of June 2013. I have my leaves sanctioned for the same period and as of now am a solo rider. I would like to know if somebody (from Pune or Mumbai or Banglore) is also planning for the ride in same period and if i can tag along with them; OR if somebody is also planning then maybe we can form a group and travel together.
        I can synchronize the leaves if required.

            hi frens,

            i am ankit currently living in Mumbai..
            i recently did a prep ride for Leh. I rode from Mumbai to Delhi on a bike( Duke ktm), will bring the blog of the write up soon.
            and i reached Delhi from Mumbai on a ride of two days. with one halt in Udaipur. I will also tell what hotel to stay in Udaipur with inhouse bike parking for bikers.
            The rode till Delhi is very smooth except of Jaipur to Delhi highway and can be done in two days time.

            so, i am geared up for Leh this summer...

                        Yup.. Am done with doing a search on it already, but couldnt trace it, which was also in the past magazine.. A elaborate guide with illustrations by OF sir.!

                          a long list of Leh Ladakh aspirants from all over the country ;-)
                          i am from mumbai / thane & intend to make the trip from mumbai too.
                          perhaps a systematic planning, gathering the requisite gear, learning the basics of motorcycle maintenance, etc. needs to begin NOW for the trip to happen in june / july.
                          mebbe all the aspirants should exchange their coordinates & then start micro-level planning?

                              A simple google would have sufficed or even a simple search on xbhp as the map has been attached many a time by people. Make the effort!
