It can be out of stock but never out of production, atleast in the current market!! So do not worry, have patience till it arrives.

Hi frnds I am sorry for jumping into topic as I experienced issues with fz rear tyre couldn't stop myself posting
I suggest pirelli sport demon which was really great never had any issue again

You can get 140/60

I tried 150/60 which looks smashing

My first post on xbhp .
i have a fazer and recently upgraded to dunlop tuffgrip at around 21Kkms.
dint change the front tyre.
after this got the bike serviced at around 23k kms and replaced chain sprockets and swingarm bush kit at the authorized service centre.
now the bike while riding tilts slightly towards the right. this is felt the most when riding with pillon.
the service centre guy advised to replace the tyre to stock. according to him the tuffgrip is the main culprit.
Need help.

IMHO, that shouldn't be the case. There are many happy users of tuffgrip. If the case was skid, puncture, grip etc. then the case would have been a bit different. Please check the wheel alignment & tyre pressure.

Hi Guys,
Due to the strike @ MRF, the stock MRF tire is no longer available in Bangalore.
Can anybody in Bangalore tell me where I can get Pirelli / Dunlop? Let's Gear Up don't have Pirelli 140. sandy.avy220 how much the Pirelli cost you?

I've an FZ - S. I was told that an ideal life span of my rear tyre would be 15000 to 20000 KMS, but however my ODO has crossed 32000KMS and there are cracks on the side of the tyre. I'm looking for an alternative tyre other than MRF that could render same or higher performance. Any suggestions please ??

Why do people wait for cracks to show up and put their life on something which cam give away anytime..
Change the tyres as soon as you could..
I don't know much.. But there are a few options in the market..
I have read members going for dunlop.. Don't know which one..
And you can also try the mrf tyres of duke 200.. Have seen them on many fz's..

Ride safe and have fun.
Regards

I recently installed Conti 140/70 R17 on mine and I'm loving it. Also since its medium compound, the life will be prolonged and punctures will be on the lower side.

Check out Michelin if you're willing to accept a few more punctures and lesser life in exchange for better grip.

ContiGo is the most commonly available stock in the market. It has been reported by many that the stock fz tyres i.e. MRF revz 140/60 is out of stock in most cities. ContiGo does have more life but it comes at the cost of grip in gravel. I would't comment on wet, atleast as of now, because I have not tried hard riding in wet road conditions. I have tried cornering but they aren't that confidence inducing.

Dunlop tuffgrip can be another option but availability is questionable.

Pirellis are soft and they offer a better grip but are a bit pricey too.

All-in-all, the stock profile of 140/60 is available only on the stock tyre so it is advised to stick to the stock MRFs. But one is not left with much choice when the options are very less in the market & especially when you use your bike almost daily and cannot afford to ride on faulty tyres.

Hey guys,
In my opinion stick to stock, since stock is not available you can go for Revz 150/60-17, that's the Duke's tyre.
Reason being both these are radials. The 150 even though on paper is wider than all available it takes the shape of the rim and rounds up, once on the bike it appears only as wide as a conventional 120/130 section tyre. Other important thing is the weight. The 150 is lighter than most 130/140 section tyres. I am using the Duke's tyre setup on my Ninja 250, it's excellent in grip, lasted about 16-17k kms. Check out the fitment, both the bikes, the one on the left N250 and the one on the right N300 are on the Revz 150/60-17.

- The 140 section stock tyre will take time to hit the market again, the strike in MRF is still on (source: I am Mrf exclusive dealer myself)
- The 140/70-17 Zapper Q mentioned on the site is only tube-type
- There's a new 140/70-17 Revz S tyre launched ( basically the R15's design in bigger size) new CBR250's are coming with these, yet not received at the dealers for sale though

Any updates from the company about the availability, and i'll update you alongwith !
