Can anybody suggest me any helmet models upto 2.5k for Bullet Classic... it must be half type that looks good on RE... please please please help as I really need it soon ( been rrising my bike without an helmet from 20 days )

However on the AGV Helmets for India | throttlers.net page, I noticed that few of those, especially the VR ones in 1st and 5th pics are the AGVs I saw a mnth back at S.M. Studio, Mulund, M'bai a month when I was thr checking out SOL lids. He quoted about 12-14k and said they were imports
Gotta admiit that d 2nd one with the full-fledged Rossi livery looks fabulous...

Like I said before, most dealers have little or no knowledge about the products they sell beyond the buying and selling price - then again there are some who will leverage your ignorance to take you for a ride to make a quick buck.

Knowledge, research and sharing amongst the community are the way that we can ensure that we and others of the community do not get hood-winked. I see rants and comments all the time on this and other forums made by people who have nothing more than a cursory knowledge of the subject in question - yet real, verifiable information often goes unnoticed.

Finally could lay my hands on my SOL SL 68S-II metalman(orange/silver) on friday evening. The wait reaaly tested my patience.Had booked it on 18th of May. Full 20 days. phew. But happy to have finally got it. Had to make do with a Steelbird Adonis for some time after I realised riding without one might prove costly.
The helmet is awesome. The graphics are too good. Very Neat. And Bright. The quality is very satisfying indeed. THanks forum members for all the info and help.Couldn't have gotten a better visual match for my Duke.Had to spend a day to figure the belt fastening mechanism though(and I am an engineer).

The padding is a dampener however. The cheek support is good, but the padding on the top leaves a lot to be desired. An good LS2 has better padding IMO. Could have been better there.Or may be I should go and check other SOL lids to make sure if it's missing by mistake or something.
Also, the guy told me the helmets come with 1 year warranty. True? The leaflet/manual doesn't mention anything. If it does, what is covered under it? The dealer did not have any idea on this.

PS: the AH helmets outlet in Oshiwara is so inaccessible owing to the Mumbai traffic that it took me atleast 2 hours to reach the place from Vikhroli west.

And the helmet has already been dropped once and has a small chip to show for it

SOL India offers the one year international warranty in India too against any manufacturing defect. If you have any issues with the helmet which is quality related, you can send in the helmet with the proof of purchase (invoice) to get redressal. The warranty is limited to repair or replacement, depending on the issue. It is important to retain the invoice however as the company will not entertain a claim without it.

This warranty obviously does not cover damage due to use and/or abuse! .

I mean I don't to bother to do a thousand crosschecks and re-enquire about stuff?? And what about the bargain deal there?

LS2 spare visor lock

I lost my LS2 celtic's visor lock, it must have gotten loose and fallen somewhere. Can anyone know if where i can get it's spare in chennai or if there is any other way to get it ??

Try the studs ninja and vega boolean. They are modular type helmets.If you dont like them you can try open face helmets in studs and vega.

Yeah one of my friend advised Studd ninja too... so I checked and there was one helmet Studd track in white colour... I really liked it.. thinkinng about buying that.. thanks for the reply btw
