Yes TIH is basically a Taiwanese company, who have plants here in India, for manufacturing these helmets with so called "DoT" standards.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
              The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

              • Guys Went for a short 100kms ride. WOW is the word with my LS2 phobia. There was literally zero drag even at 110 km/h. I did not feel the push by the helmet. In my Vega my head used to bounce due to drag at high speeds. Anyway Love the helmet. Cheers

Thanks accu fo the review. And Inder.cool, whistling is almost bread and butter of any helmets, anything that is "frictioned" with air do whistle, you can't wipe them out completely, as there will a component of whistle or wind noise.

                      Cheers!

Phobia and Piston head are more or less the same, with the fit being a little narrower and the rear vents missing in the Piston Head. But mind you piston head is nice helmet, my friend has one, silver color and it's good as it gets, bought it for 3k~ in eBay.

Fake to non-fake is not possible without seeing the helmet in and of itself. Check the store first, if it's cheap and shoddy, definitely there is chance it might be fake, and you can ask some questions about the helmet itself to the reseller, all these will give you "clues" to either go for it or no, that's the best advice one can give. All the best.

Make sure, there aren't any loose vents, or shoddy paintjob, chips etc in the helmet, which are prime indicators of fake.

                        Cheers!

Do I need to do any bargaining?

                          • I bought this Airoh Speed Fire in January '13. The lid altogether is amazing, but I wish I could say the same for the two vents; awful.
I open the visor a teeny bit to get rid of the misting, every single time. (horror!) The transparency levels touch the awesome mark.

The only problem i face right now I require a dark tinted visor- and I found out that a replacement costs INR2000!
Anyone know of any other (cheaper) replacement visors?

Tell you what, why don't you get something cheaper like ICON, AGV or Bell helmets. BELL is really one kick ass helmets and have been around for decades, it's just that a lot of people doesn't know that. And Niranjan too recently bought himeself a Bell, QUALITY is ORGASMIC, literally from what I saw in his pics. $370 odd if I am not mistaken.

Bachoo Motors are really pathetic when it comes to after sales, and all the hoopla just stops after somethings are purchased. I've known two people, problem with their jacket and helmet whereby he just said, stitch it, and stick with glue for the helmets. And moreover, they don't concentrate on after market accessories for helmets etc, at least now. Sell, make a profit, sell make a profit. Glitch? Try doing DIY, else we'll give a new one (very rare)

A visor for my GP 500 costed 4200 bucks when I asked Bachoo folks, so I just refrained from purchasing one, darn that's equivalent to a SOL mid range helmet. But that's the same case if you even source it overseas.

Sad part of buying an AIROH. All the hoopla ends, just in marketing.

                              Cheers!

There was literally no or very very minimal whistling sound at 110km/h. And the best part is you will feel the same weight of the helmet as when your riding at 10km/h . The aerodynamics is superb. Cheers
