as the tinted ones hider the visibility at night.. so thinking of buying a dual one..

I would suggest Tih and SOL. For the budget you mentioned. But if you can increase your budget , do take a look at airoh and sparxs too.

Increasing the budget is not an option at present.. Maybe waiting for some more time would be ideal.. And then get a really nice one..
thanks for the suggestions..

Ride safe and have fun.

I thought you said increasing the budget was not a problem for you if the product was good, hence suggested the airoh, its top quality stuff. Anyways , your call.

I don't have a job as of yet.. Just completed college.. So you can understand what i'm trying to say.. can't rip this much from home..

Ofcourse, i totally understand, I am in the same situation as yours now. Saving for a new lid right now. Might be a sol or airoh. Considering sparx too

Hey guys got the SOL SF-1 yesterday from Meandering India. Black/White/Gray color scheme. Costed me 5.4 k. Has decent cooling features, dual visor, LED light at the back, washable liner, quick release visor and decent build quality. Had gone for the SL-68s Unicorn but it was not available in stock. It costs around 4.7k. But then i looked at a few options available - Metal Man, Hornet, etc. and i liked the SF-1 and found it to be VFM for its features, though it might not be in the same category as the SL-68s when it comes to cooling. The latter has better intake and exhaust vents. But what the SF-1 offers is fine for me especially considering the fact that i have been using an 8 yr old Studds Ninja (Modular)

When i saw the Hornet i was like WOW! but only if it had the LED feature i would have 100% gone for it. but since i have to ride in the dark some times hence the LED light was a must for me, hence dropped Hornet. Metal man didn't excite me much as i am fed with seeing a lot of skull designs and stickers now.

But one thing that i can vouch for is for the build quality which is very good. Graphic quality, finish and fit is just perfect.

A word of advice to all those who are planning to buy a helmet is that PLEASE PLEASE try the helmet before buying and do not rely on the online head sizing charts that for eg. SpartanPro gear etc show. I am not saying that the what spartanpro gear has put up online is wrong or incorrect in anyway but its just a standard sizing i guess. because when i did the sizing for myself i saw that i only the small sized helmet could fit me but when i personally went and tried the only size that fit me was LARGE.

any ways i am happy with my purchase and enjoying the looks / stares and questions for the moment. Yesterday a guy at a shop was asking me for the prize of my new purchase and i was happy to know that people do notice it.

Hope this helps everyone here in deciding. Just in case for people who want to buy LS2 please check with SpeedKing in Karol Bagh i had spoken with him regarding a few models and he said that new stock will be arriving next week.

Will post pics soon. Thanks everyone for helping me in this purchase.
xpranav thanks for the address to Meandering India. Good place and decent stuff available, they also deal with Daijya, Nuvo, Alpinestar, Cramster and i think they are also the official dealers for PlanetDSG.

The power source are two AAA size batteries well concealed on the top of helmet. And i think even the LED is replacable just in case it goes kaput. I saw two small screws at the back of the helmet, but this i have to confirm with the dealer. I hope they dont go off soon.

Just about to leave office its pretty dark out here due to rain clouds and i am waiting to switch on the LED back light. Time for some show-off he he.

Rudimental AAA sized two battery and which are housed in a small plastic underneath helmet at the rear.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Sorry guys for posting too many pics :P ....
I was so eager to receive it that i ended up going to courier office at 8:30AM and got the bags opened up and took my courier and wore it and started riding.

Tested it upto speeds of 130 Kmph and it was fantastic and until i checked my speedo i dint notice that i was doing 120 Kmph then throttled up and tested it till 130Kmph and it blocks wind noise absolutely well and it a very snug fit and it dint give me any irritation in thick traffic too but i felt like opening up the visor :P when i was in traffic.

At first felt that it would be too heavy as 1400gms was mentioned on it but once i wore it, i felt it to be very light in weight and there are no pressure points only the cheeks gets pressed up but i think i need to get used to it. Upto now since morning these are my observations.
