Could you share your experience with the SOL helmets? How is the comfort ,noise insulation .Does it have good ventilation to keep the insides of helmet cool in hot weather?

Using mine for the last 1 year over 18k kms. Genuine DOT certified, good build quality, good comfort, plush, removable and washable CoolMax interior, very good circulation with many vents, very good visor quality. Check out a review from another member here - SOL Helmet Review

Many Chennai XBhpians and Madras Bulls using it now.

Is this offer available at Blore too? I have an old "coconut shell" full face ISI approved (LOL) lid which only does duty when i go for a haircut (a rare occasion now).

How long is the offer lasting? Has the shop in ECR opened?

                • Anyone has any idea of customs if someone in UK sends me a Lid worth 16K+ from UK to India?Do parcels marked as gifts also liable to customs?

Purely touch and go - I've bought helmets from abroad thrice. Was charged duty on invoice value twice and let through without duty once. On the other hand have paid duty for armour while no duty was charged for full leathers - crazy!

All shipments were marked as gifts by friends and relatives but that seems to have no bearing on the customs who wield their duty sword seemingly arbitrarily. Try your luck guess!

Only with helmets, make sure you try out that brand's sizing with a friend who has it in India first - fitting with helmets vary at times across brands and getting the wrong size can be a bummer, as exchange may be next to impossible.

I remember Joshua Crasto used to add a red mohawk to his helmet when he used to test bikes for BSM, its there in several articles. They even mentioned the website from which to order this though I have no recollection of the details now.
