Nothing to worry about. Fuses are there to protect the electrical system.Originally posted by Anuj_Gupta View PostFirst of all .

A fuse costs some ₹10-15.
It would be under the seat or near the battery compartment. There is a spare fuse in there, you just gotta swap it.
I have faced the same and my condition was just like yours. Went to a mech nearby and he just put in a new fuse and all started working back.
Ride safe and have fun.

1. Electrical circuits won't go that easily as long as the fuses are working.Originally posted by Anuj_Gupta View PostFirst of all .

2. Nope...just a replacement of a single fuse should do the trick... Cost should be few bucks.
3. Check the circuits below the rider seat near the battery. Manual could provide info on type and capacity of fuse.

My digital fuel bars ,time display ,speedometer, trip meter are working fine .so that means ecm hasn't gone kaput. .right ..?Originally posted by John P Daniel View Post1. Electrical circuits won't go that easily as long as the fuses are working.

First of all, 200NS does not have a ECU, not even a BCU like the other pulsars.Originally posted by Anuj_Gupta View PostMy digital fuel bars ,time display ,speedometer, trip meter are working fine .so that means ecm hasn't gone kaput. .right ..?
You just need to replace the fuse, pull each one out and replace the burned out one. There should be a spare fuse provided in the fuse box (under the seat) itself.
And dude, that's why you always use a proper wiring harness and a relay while using aftermarket horns.

Yeah, connect it directly from the battery or you may run the risk of burning down your bike's existing wirings. I am not sure which orange wire you are talking about but it is always best to wire them from battery.Originally posted by nHn View PostYess! I am from bangladesh
Yess! I know a light electronics. I can build amplifier and some stuffs like that.
Well the problem is that yet need time to figure out about motorcycle.
Umm about U2 bin, I am not sure, its not openable
So you are suggesting to connect the positive direct from battery including a fuse and a switch. well is there any difference if i connect it from an orange wire? clear it to me pls.
EDIT: Something I am thinking about, guys what do you think about using the starter relay terminals to connect accessories that would normally be connected to battery terminals? So far I can't find any reason why this shouldn't be done, but I would like to know your opinion on this before I proceed (or maybe burn down a starter motor).Last edited by Cleaner; 11-28-2014, 07:13 PM.I am back!

Re: Let there be Light : Bike Lighting, HID etc
Could someone tell me where I can buy things like, relays, wires, heat shrink tubing, various connectors at bulk. I need to buy them for my upcoming project. An online source which accepts cash on delivery would be great.I am back!

Heat shrink tubing from any shop that deals in electronic components, such as resistors, capacitors etc.( plenty online, but not with COD) relays and automotive connectors from any shop that deals in aftermarket car spares (not accessory shops)Originally posted by Cleaner View PostCould someone tell me where I can buy things like, relays, wires, heat shrink tubing, various connectors at bulk. More than 98 percent of convicted criminals are bread eaters !
Statistics show that more than 75 % of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread !
Bread is known to be extremely addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water, actually begged for bread after just two days !
Bread has been proven to kill. Scientists have now uncovered alarming evidence that 100% of the people who eat bread will eventually die !

Re: Let there be Light : Bike Lighting, HID etc
I cannot seem to find such stores here in Assam (I live close to a large city), I tried searching but could not find any shop selling them. Half of them do not even understand what heat shrink is, let alone spade connectors. I found some shops selling relays (The big ones, used in voltage stabilizers and things like that) but they asked me 300 rupees for one and they are not selling in bulk. I'm in urgent need of automotive wires in 1.5 mm2 size, but nobody has them here, all they sell is control cables used to wire houses.Originally posted by stefanm View PostHeat shrink tubing from any shop that deals in electronic components, such as resistors, capacitors etc.( plenty online, but not with COD) relays and automotive connectors from any shop that deals in aftermarket car spares (not accessory shops)
BTW anybody knows if anyone else manufacture automotive wires apart from Finolex. I'm in need of zip ties in bulk too.I am back!
