Re: Let there be Light : Bike Lighting, HID etc
hi,
my cbz stock bulb was 35/35W but I directly fitted 55/60 without any other modification.
But i was advised to use a relay instead of direct fit.
Can I fit a 100W bulb in same setup?
why should I use the relay?
I am trying to do the same mod on my car also, 55/60 to 90/100. I think it will blow the fuse out.
But if I put a little stronger fuse, is it safe to do this mode instead of going for the relay thing, as relay will void the warranty.

100 watts will mel your reflector or black it out... the reflector is not made to handl that kind of heat. also the holder would need to be changed to ceramic ones.Originally posted by abhisheklalnediya View Posthi,

which you might not find all together for cbz...
relay is mandate else 90/100 will load the electricals and the battery will drain else you will get a bulb lighting up like a candle..."A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel."

Re: Let there be Light : Bike Lighting, HID etc
I am sorry if this is discussed many times here. I am not much of a follower of this group. I am willing to get a H4 Night breaker Unlimited for my Pulsar 200NS over the stock bulb. What's your take on it? I know the bulb is great, I have a Night Breaker Plus on my car. Any other recommendations that I should consider when getting a new and a 'better' bulb?
And it so happens that I want aux fog lamps too for the bulbs. I can stretch the budget on it upto 1.5-2K on the bulbs including mounts for the leg guards. Can you throw in light on this too?It never gets easier, you just go faster.

Re: Let there be Light : Bike Lighting, HID etc
Hello fellow xbhpians,
Any shop in Mumbai where I can source the following:
1) Philips blue-vision Moto 35W/35W HS1(H4)
2) Philips Ultinon T10 LED
I contacted the shops listed on Philips website but seemed to be out of luck there, rather out of stock.
Is anyone aware of shops in Lamington Road, or any other shops in that area which stock the above?
Thank you.

Re: Let there be Light : Bike Lighting, HID etc
In bike u can fit 55 w without relay... But for relay u need to convert ur bike to dc which will drain the battery....my advise let it be 55. I have also fitted the same in my hunk ...55w. But strong no for 100w. In swift dezire my uncle has fitted 100/90 with relay....no issue at all and no reflector meltingOriginally posted by abhisheklalnediya View Posthi,

Re: Let there be Light : Bike Lighting, HID etc
Hey guys, I have a pulsar 180ug4 and planning to get 55/55 or 60/55w bulb for it. The bike is full dc with no kick start. Is it recommended to use relay on it? If yes, what type/model relay should be used and how?
Sorry if it's been posted already but searching tons of pages on mobile can be tedious..

Sent from my ST18iI'm running 55w bulb since three years without any issues. No relay is necessary. Tbh there's no difference I have found between 35w and 55w as the spread increases with non OEM bulb. I'm upgrading to a cheap hid in Jan first week. Cleaner. I have decided to go with hid alone for the time being. Getting a kit locally around rs. 800. Any pointer to make the setup reliable?Originally posted by anarchy911 View PostWhat can i do on pulsar 180 (UG4) to improve its light but not affecting the battery?
