Not worth it. You get only chinese ones under 3k and I've used them for 3 years. The visibility is next to bullshit. A regular halogen is much much better than these chinese projectors. That's the reason am hunting for branded ones. Osram has it. Costs around 10k. If you don't want to spend so much, buy a good bulb. Not a projector. Safety comes first, then the looks.

A way more cheaper and yet more effective upgrade. Change to osram or philips. Night breaker is pretty good..

I have 2010 Yamaha Fazer 150, I m struggling with my headlight, its not at all sufficient while riding at nights. I have even made it to dual healight setup (Where as stock comes with Low beam on one side and High beam on other side.). After reading so many threads in this page, i m confussed to select which option, sould i go for HID or NB. What are the modification that need to be carried out to install HID or NB. Guyz help me out fast. As i am planning for 3 days ride, in which even night ridings are included.

I have been hunting for good quality HID projectors deal (preferably AES or MORIMOTO) here in Hyderabad. Though there are many shops in Minister Road or Stadium premises but all they have is regular Xenon/P8/Philips HID kits & are quoting very high.

So, anyone who has either of these 2 brand projectors (AES/MORIMOTO) installed (either in their car/bike) can help me take this forward. This thread can help others as well who are looking forward to have a quality upgrade to their rides.

Attached are some products from AES & MORIMOTO for viewing purpose.

I was thinking of buying P220's projector and installing bi-xenon HID in it for my pulsar 180. Is it a practical thought? How much would it cost me? I dont want to play with any circuitry of my bik, and dont want to affect my battery.

                            Hello Brothers,

need some help regarding Ktm power outlet.

the diameter of the outlet is 12-13mm. Im not able to find a suitable adaptor for it. Adaptor used in cars are too big to fit.
On the top of it "6-24V = max16A " has been written. What does that mean.

                            Cheers

                              Theory 1:
Unlike cars, on bikes the voltage can fluctuate. SO they have added that line 6V to 24V depending upon the load (more load less voltage and vice versa). Secondly it can support max 16A current (must be at lowest Voltage ie 6V). So in the end it can support a load upto 6A x 6V = 36W. That's like charging 3 heavy mobiles at the same time.

                              Theory 2:
Those figures may be related to input and not the output. Meaning it'll run fine even if the input V is dropped to 6V or jumped to 24V.

And if you can't fit anything into that socket, OLX pe bech dalo.

Thanks for the info bro . OLX mein nahi dunga . Thing is i bought this one & a wind screen from Australia , both price are around 8k each in India but outside they are only 2.5k each. So selling it will not be a good idea.
