Make sure you add a relay and good quality fuse before the battery. If the connectors are not insulated, use two layers of shrink tubing and [sarcasm]finally order a new wiring harness for P180 at your nearest Bajaj dealership as your existing one may burn down, also drink a lot of water.[/sarcasm]

If you are connecting high wattage bulbs like 100/90 your coil ( and battery if it is a dc bike) should be able to supply the required juice. An OE wiring supports the OE load plus maybe 15...20 % more. Even if it doesnt burn , the switch points might get affected due to higher current. To be on the safe side , use a relay.

There is no 'type' ... Most branded relays come for 4 wheelers.. ie , 2 holders. We cut off one holder and use the other. Depending on your bike you may have to change the holder. I think most come with H4 type holder. If your bulb is not H4 then you might have to buy holder separately and connect it. Just go to any auto spares shop and ask for headlight relay kit ( Bosch or any other known brand will do.). You can buy just the relay and then buy wire and holder and connect them . But with a branded one you van be assured of the quality. Ceramic holders are better.

                              • Looking for AES/Morimoto projectors in HYD

                                Hello Everyone,

I have been hunting for good quality HID projectors deal (preferably AES or MORIMOTO) here in Hyderabad. Though there are many shops in Minister Road or Stadium premises but all they have is regular Xenon/P8/Philips HID kits & are quoting very high.

So, anyone who has either of these 2 brand projectors (AES/MORIMOTO) installed (either in their car/bike) can help me take this forward. This thread can help others as well who are looking forward to have a quality upgrade to their rides.

Attached are some products from AES & MORIMOTO for viewing purpose.
