AES if genuine is an awesome projector. Expect no loss in resale value.

        Hi guys

Looking for a headlight replacement for my pulsar 200ns.
Just 5 months old and my stock 60/55w bulb has fused.

So looking for something which is plug n play and is better than stock.
Prefer something which works in rain too.

Tried a lot to get Philips extreme vision online/ offline didn't find it.

Could someone guide me as to what would be best for me.
I am currently in Bangalore and any help would be great.

for KNIGHT RIDING. you would need a horse and few men..

for motorcycle on road. 4200 will be best bet...
5000k is bluish white and 6000k will be pure white..

4200 still washes away under street lamps and in rain. 3700 would be better.

Is that the reason why it's so cheap? What are the average prices of the under 4300k ones?

Cheap because they are chinese with poor quality ballast and harness. Also, the projector lens is bad in quality. Good 4300K or 4000K lighting systems range from 6k to 15k rupees.

HID's is now a common technology which also means that manufacturing costs have come down. however coming to costs..
the local chinese bulbs can go out anytime. its purely luck you might end up with a blown bulb in 24 hours or 6 months. the same does not happen with quality HID bulbs like philips which again come with a higher price tag.

now coming tp projector setup the mst important peice is the glass itself. if its low quality not only it will eat a lot of light but also refract it in such a way that neither you have a clear pattern nor a good beam. these chinese ones comes with very low quality optics and basic ballasts which many fail anyday... my suggestion.. Avoid.

if you really want budget setup : AES projectors. (again its budget) + DSP ballast + HID bulb.
if you want the best in business : morimoto D2S else Hella G3. you are looking north of 10k ( bulb + projector + ballast 35/55 ). but nothing beats it.
