Is the H/L dc ? If so, will the battery be able to supply the juice?
The 2nd question is more relevant. If the battery is , say, 4ah then I dont think it would be beneficial. It might drain your battery while not giving enough light.
If the h/l is ac then you might have to rewind the coil .
Pilot lamps are independent of h/l power. Normally they are @ 3watts. You can check out the led bulbs available in your area.

Anyway with a 5 amp battery you get 60 watts max. Tail light and park light take up some current . Also the bike uses some current for its running. So full utilisation of the h/l is not possible. In my view an hid with color temperature 4300 or below would make sense. HID @ 35 watts give better light than halogen @ 55/60 watts. It is better to have a projector setup when using hid. But I am inexperienced in the hid field. So get feedback from someone who has done it.

Yes FZs/Fazer battery is 5amp. just got it changed today.. it lasted 3/12 years.

With that power better stick to 35w halogens.. HIDs without projector will just spread all over and blind everyone.. unless you can spend on the projector.

So that was my question too.. what are good alternative 35w halogens to replace factory stock ones.. because they do not provide adequate light.

              Fzs's headlight runs on DC.

For Fazer, Headlights are a major concern, unless you are happy with lighting only one bulb. the battery takes a toll when you try to lit both the bulbs together. installing HIDs in one side should solve the issue (but, stay away from the cops); the battery doesn't take the best out the Osram nightbreakers as well. bought a pair used it and switched back to Philips 35W.

Hi mates, I want to upgrade my 50/60w H4 in my 200NS because luminance is not enough to penetrate through on coming traffic ( I literally go blind everytime 4 wheelers come towards me). What would be the best replacement for my dying bulb?

I have been running both the headlights on stock battery since I got the bike, had to change the battery recently. Switched to 5amps Amaco drycell battery.

Never faced any issue with both the bulbs running together. I am just looking for a better 35w bulb to replace the stock bulbs.

No Issues with lighting both the stock bulbs. I meant with HIDs and Nightbreaker's lighting both the bulbs is little too much on the battery. Try the Philips 35W, does give slightly better results.

Yes, I had it my fazer.. Never caused any trouble.. i got them from a local automobile shop here in Andaman and i think it shouldn't be a problem finding them in Mainland.
Used Both OSRAM HS1U & Philips HS1 in my Fazer.

Guys can you please advise which is better - HID or a projector for my Pulsar 200 DTS-i ??

And also the current light that I have is very dull and I almost get confused if it is ON or not just in the brightness of street lights and I will go blind every time a car or a new bike with 55W headlights is coming head on . I had my battery replaced around a year back and it is not the prescribed one but does the job well and i think it might be the reason for the dull lights. So does changing into a projector or a HID hamper it even more and if i still want a HID or a projector should i change the battery ?

And i also wanted to know what is the default connector for my bike.
Life may begin at 30, but it doesn't get real interesting until about 150 ;-)
