              • @sammy21: i got your PM, so your HID starter is not working, i will try to help, but without physically checking it is very difficult, still i will try-

                1) first of all, how do you know, your starter/ballast is not working?? it can also be some other fault. and since you have a warranty, you can get it replaced from the person who sold you the HID kit.

                2) check the wiring, it can be a wiring issue, like a loose connection or improper grounding, check battery connection, fuses etc.

                3) check relay, frequency of failure of relay is much higher than HID or any other electronic part.

                4) check the extra switch your mechanic has installed, it can be faulty also.

                5) sometimes bad wiring can cause BCU failure and or RHS and or LHS switches failure. worst case scenario if you have a digital meter pulsar.

                6) check battery, battery may be discharged. stock charging ckt. can not power an HID for more than an hour on a continuous run unless and untill charging ckt is modified. so check battery charge level. is you self starter, horns etc working normally??

                7) can you post the modified wiring diagram of your bike ...

                  • @princesirohi : Thanks a lot for your help but my you got me wrong. Actually what i meant was that my HID is working fine but my electric/self start isn't working anymore

Yes i have a digital meter pulsar and its horns and indicator are working fine. I am sorry, i don't have its wiring diagram.

Firstly the mechanic used the original switches to make HID work but in this case HID worked and Self failed. I suppose bike require AC current to start.
Then to fix it he used a 1 way switch which he asked me to switch ON after starting the bike. But he wasn't sure about what he was doing
so, then he used a 3 way switch for HID with which self too worked but it failed when I return back from karol bagh.
So now i am left with push (dhakka) start only

                    • ok, sammy21, then the problem is in wiring or extra switch he connected, or handle bar mounted starter switch or BCU. ensure that battery is fine.

otherwise it may be a coincidence and not related to HID, check clutch switch sensor and neutral sensor and or stater relay.

So what mechanic did is he connected the HID directly to the Battery via 3-way switch. Then how you are using the pass light.
Pulsar is having some complicate wiring.
                        Have you checked the Fuses,

i have a glamour ,suppose the generator makes 100 watts of power

when headlight is on 50 must be going to headlight and 50 to battery

then when the head lamp is off all this 100 watt must be going to charge battery ?or 50 watts is just wasted

                            • I don't know much in detail about electronic work so need a help
I wnt to know that how can I make normal RED_BLUE LED's flash like police lights, what types of LED's & resistors or any other stuff required, should I use in order to make that on my own.
I know it would sound weird but I want to make it as compact as possible because I want to install that on my HELMET (hope you guys dont laugh ).
