Hey guys. I own a 220F and had read about a mod where both high and low beams could be kept on at the same time but am unable to trace it. Can you guys please tell me as to where i can get it done in Mumbai and approximate costs involved. Am riding to Goa in December and could really use this mod.
Cheers.Just flick the switch and twist my wrist
The beast comes alive, bringing me back to life
A tap to shift and flick of the wrist
The beast takes flight bringing me back to life
Kill the silence, tear apart the dark
The beast rips the road, hell yeah, i feel alive.

We did a bulk buy from TRS (8 of us N650 owners from the FB owners group) and coupled it with black friday deals. Got a good 25% off 😃. Under shipment as we speak. If you are not afraid, you have probably chosen too easy a mountain to climb!!

Can anyone help me identify hid bulb type from these pics?
Nice. I guess morimoto is in-house branding from TRS. Excellent buy.Originally posted by UrbanNomad View PostNot at all.

Please do post projections on white wall and spread on road pics once you are done with the Retrofit.

Looks like a single beam hid. maybe H7.. Maybe.. If the holder was shown then it would have been easier to identify. I've attached a pic of it.. Sorry for the poor clarityOriginally posted by Stanley27 View PostCan anyone help me identify hid bulb type from these pics?ZMR- PGMFI re-defined

Brother....!! you can talkto Navneesh Nagesh...he stays in bangalore...but ships HID setups to your place in return of a money transfer....ask him if he has got the 4300k kit with him..!! 4300k is the closest to yellow halogen....then comes 6000k which is pure white...!!! He will also be able to ship you the projectors for the same...!! and i suppose any good bike mechanic can get the setu up done for you...incase not then come down to Mumbai...il do it for you..!!:-)
Hearty suggestion: please avoid the local China made HID's they are of no use....only look like HID's but genuine ones are way better than those..!!Regards-

cheap HID kits! are they good ?
There are many online sources for HID kits for bike..
prices are range from 20 - 30 US$ for swing angle type kits.
My question is are these HID bulbs really produce rated light output ?
Will it reduce light output with use some time..?
what are the difference between this and expensive HIDs like Philips..

Lights for 200 NS ( Dummies Version )
Guys,
Forgive me if its a repost, or do kindly point me to the correct post if you can.
And do pardon the silly doubts.
Guys I have a pulsar 200NS, while the light throw of the headlights are good; I was thinking of using a higher quality HID headlight, considering some touring in the nights.
The current headlight is "H4 bulb 12V 55/60W".
- If I am to upgrade to higher quality bulb , what would be the options?
For e.g found out about Philips Diamond Vision 5000K ( but it has a whitish blue tone).
I would prefer to maintain the yellow color of the light ( to avoid being a cop magnet),
- What modifications I would have to make to the bikes electrical s for other bulbs other than H4 ?, say H7 or Higher ?
- Is it possible to go for projector setup ( in the slightly longer run though), what would be the risks and costs associated.
I know my questions might be a bit vague, this is as far as I can get it clear for the time being, your responses are much appreciated."A bike on the road is worth two in the shed"
