    • Can the new TBTS headlight (with integrated projector) be installed in an AC-based system like on the Unicorn? I plan to get the coil rewound to 60/55 and install the TBTS headlight in place of the entire fairing of the Unicorn. I believe the projector is an H7 halogen based projector. Will that work well? I don't mind removing the entire fairing assembly and make it look naked like CB125E but that besides the point.

Any advice for/against this? What are the things I need to worry about for this setup to work reliably?

I think Highbeam is 35+35 = 70W.... SO i dont think i need to change the wiring..but what about low beam?? Plz help guys
User:KDS4444/HS1 bulb - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia hs1 or h4 both will fit
and only sinlge 55/60 watts bulb will glow properly if you will put the two 55/60 watts bulb then your battery will discharge so i would suggest you go for 35 hid on low beam and other side let it be 35 watts stock bulb

the headlight would work perfectly in your unicorn in ac setup or dc see the official site the bulb is h7 type halogen but you need to get the rewinding of lighting coil and change the rr to the bajaj avenger 180 to support a single 60 watts bulb in ac. For dc go to the convert ac/dc to all dc thread in uiniversal threads there you will find every information for dc convertion.

slightly offtopic post here. i have a vespa which has a dc circuitry. now i need a point from which i want to draw power which runs at 6watts at max. a phone charger. now how do set this up? i tried by connecting the terminals to the wires coming out of rectifier going to the coil. well i want the device working on my when the engine is running so as not to empty my battery by mistake. i tried to start the scooter but it didn't no matter how much i tried. i felt as if it was giving some back fires too but it wasn't starting at all. fed up i removed the 1watt bulb that i used to test n voila it starts on the first crank. so now i am sure i messed up the circuit somewhere. so where is it exactly I made a mistake?
can anyone help me in giving an idea how should i go about it?
i put up a thread on it but no answers there in it so maybe i could get some help regarding electricals here.

i am talking about bi xenon hid they are legal in low beam only even projectors are also illegal if used in high beam in city.
and if the charging is less than the load than the battery will discharge no matter how big the battery is.
R15 charging is sufficient why don't you go for 35 watt bi-xenon hid in low beam

The local chinese projectors are totally waste of money. You can contact two brothers they are from Delhi, they having a original Morimoto Projectors. It's expense but not more.

                          • Which bulb would be suitable for RTR 180? Philips BlueVision, Extreme Vision,CrystalVision or DiamondVision or any other from Osram?

P.S: I am currently using HID after rewinding and converting from AC to DC

then why do you need any bulb if you are already running on hid.
Philips extreme vision would be good to go but it comes in 55/60 watts minimum and in pairs
are you using ape rr or any other rr which output should not be less than 10 amps otherwise you would face battery discharging issues with 55/60 watts
